Exodus 14:1-14
And Jehovah spokeH1696 to MosesH4872, sayingH559,
SpeakH1696 unto the children of IsraelH3478, that they turnH7725 and encampH2583 before Pi-hahirothH6367, between MigdolH4024 and the seaH3220: before Baal-ZephonH1189, opposite to it, shall ye encampH2583 by the seaH3220.
And PharaohH6547 will sayH559 of the children of IsraelH3478, They are entangled in the landH776, the wildernessH4057 has hemmed them in.
And I will harden Pharaoh's heartH3820, that he may pursueH7291 after them; and I will glorifyH3513 myself in PharaohH6547, and in all his host; and the EgyptiansH4713 shall knowH3045 that I am Jehovah. And they did soH3651.
And it was toldH5046 the kingH4428 of EgyptH4714 that the peopleH5971 had fledH1272; and the heartH3824 of PharaohH6547 and of his bondmen was turnedH2015 against the peopleH5971, and they saidH559, WhyH4100 have we done this, that we have let IsraelH3478 goH7971 from our service?
And he yoked his chariotH7393, and tookH3947 his peopleH5971 with him.
And he tookH3947 sixH8337 hundredH3967 chosen chariotsH7393, and all the chariotsH7393 of EgyptH4714, and captains over every one of them.
And Jehovah hardened the heartH3820 of PharaohH6547 kingH4428 of EgyptH4714, and he pursuedH7291 after the children of IsraelH3478; and the children of IsraelH3478 had goneH3318 out with a highH7311 handH3027.
And the EgyptiansH4713 pursuedH7291 after them, — all the horsesH5483 and chariotsH7393 of PharaohH6547, and his horsemenH6571, and his armyH2428, and overtookH5381 them where they had encampedH2583 by the seaH3220, beside Pi-hahirothH6367, opposite to Baal-ZephonH1189.
And PharaohH6547 approached; and the children of IsraelH3478 liftedH5375 up their eyesH5869, and behold, the EgyptiansH4713 marched after them; and the children of IsraelH3478 were much afraidH3372, and criedH6817 out to Jehovah.
And they saidH559 to MosesH4872, Is it because there were no gravesH6913 in EgyptH4714, thou hast takenH3947 us awayH3947 to dieH4191 in the wildernessH4057? whyH4100 hast thou done this to us, that thou hast led us out of EgyptH4714?
Is not this what we told thee in EgyptH4714, when we saidH559, Let us alone, and we will serveH5647 the Egyptians? For [it had been] betterH2896 for us to serveH5647 the Egyptians than to dieH4191 in the wildernessH4057.
And MosesH4872 saidH559 to the peopleH5971, FearH3372 not: standH3320 stillH5750, and seeH7200 the salvationH3444 of Jehovah, which he will work for you to-day; for the EgyptiansH4713 whom ye have seenH7200 to-day, ye shall seeH7200 them againH5750 no more for everH5769.
