1 Kings 1:41-53

41And AdonijahH138 and all the guests that were with him heardH8085 [it] as they were finishing their repast; and JoabH3097 heardH8085 the soundH6963 of the trumpetH7782, and he saidH559, Wherefore this noise of the city in an uproarH1993? 42While he yetH5750 spokeH1696, behold, JonathanH3129 the sonH1121 of AbiatharH54 the priestH3548 cameH935; and AdonijahH138 saidH559 [to him], ComeH935 in; for thou art a valiant manH376, and bringest goodH2896 newsH1319. 43And JonathanH3129 answered and saidH559 to AdonijahH138, Indeed, our lordH113 kingH4428 DavidH1732 has made SolomonH8010 kingH4428. 44And the kingH4428 has sentH7971 with him ZadokH6659 the priestH3548, and NathanH5416 the prophetH5030, and BenaiahH1141 the sonH1121 of JehoiadaH3077, and the Cherethites and the Pelethites, and they have caused him to rideH7392 upon the king's muleH6506; 45and ZadokH6659 the priestH3548 and NathanH5416 the prophetH5030 have anointedH4886 him kingH4428 at GihonH1521; and they are comeH5927 up from thence rejoicing, so that the city is in an uproar. This is the noise which ye have heardH8085. 46And alsoH1571 SolomonH8010 is sittingH3427 on the throneH3678 of the kingdom. 47And moreover the king's servantsH5650 cameH935 to blessH1288 our lordH113 kingH4428 DavidH1732, sayingH559, Thy 1GodH430 makeH1431 the nameH8034 of SolomonH8010 more excellent than thy nameH8034, and makeH1431 his throneH3678 greaterH1431 than thy throneH3678! And the kingH4428 bowedH7812 himself on the bedH4904. 48And alsoH1571 thusH3602 saidH559 the kingH4428: BlessedH1288 be Jehovah, the 2GodH430 of IsraelH3478, who has givenH5414 oneH834 to sitH3427 on my throneH3678 this dayH3117, mine eyesH5869 even seeingH7200 it. 49And all Adonijah's guests were afraid, and roseH6965 up and went every manH376 his wayH1870. 50And AdonijahH138 fearedH3372 because of SolomonH8010, and aroseH6965 and went and caught holdH2388 of the hornsH7161 of the altarH4196. 51And it was toldH5046 SolomonH8010 sayingH559, Behold, AdonijahH138 fearsH3372 kingH4428 SolomonH8010; for behold, he has caught holdH270 of the hornsH7161 of the altarH4196, sayingH559, Let kingH4428 SolomonH8010 swearH7650 to me this dayH3117 that he will not putH4191 his servantH5650 to deathH4191 with the swordH2719. 52And SolomonH8010 saidH559, If he beH1961 a worthy man, there shall not one of his hairsH8185 fallH5307 to the earthH776; but if wickednessH7451 beH1961 foundH4672 in him, he shall dieH4191. 53And kingH4428 SolomonH8010 sentH7971, and they broughtH935 him downH3381 from the altarH4196. And he cameH935 and bowedH7812 himself to kingH4428 SolomonH8010; and SolomonH8010 saidH559 to him, GoH935 to thy houseH1004.
