1And in the eighteenth yearH8141 of kingH4428 JeroboamH3379 the sonH1121 of NebatH5028 began AbijamH38 to reignH4427 over JudahH3063. 2He reignedH4427 threeH7969 yearsH8141 in JerusalemH3389; and his mother's nameH8034 was Maachah, a daughterH1323 of AbishalomH53. 3And he walked in all the sinsH2403 of his fatherH1, which he had done before him; and his heartH3824 wasH1961 not perfectH8003 with Jehovah his 1GodH430, as the heartH3824 of DavidH1732 his fatherH1. 4But for David's sakeH4616 Jehovah his 2GodH430 gaveH5414 him a lampH5216 in JerusalemH3389, settingH5414 up his sonH1121 after him, and establishing JerusalemH3389; 5because DavidH1732 did that which was rightH3477 in the sight of Jehovah, and turnedH5493 not asideH5493 from anything that he commandedH6680 him all the daysH3117 of his life, except in the matterH1697 of Urijah the HittiteH2850. 6And there had beenH1961 warH4421 between RehoboamH7346 and JeroboamH3379 all the daysH3117 of his life. 7And the restH3499 of the acts of AbijamH38, and all that he did, are they not writtenH3789 in the bookH5612 of the chronicles of the kingsH4428 of JudahH3063? And JehoshaphatH3092 his sonH1121 reignedH4427 in his stead. 25And NadabH5070 the sonH1121 of JeroboamH3379 began to reignH4427 over IsraelH3478 in the second yearH8141 of AsaH609 kingH4428 of JudahH3063; and he reignedH4427 over IsraelH3478 twoH8147 yearsH8141. 26And he did evilH7451 in the sight of Jehovah, and walked in the wayH1870 of his fatherH1, and in his sinH2398 with which he madeH6213 IsraelH3478 sinH2398. 27And BaashaH1201 the sonH1121 of AhijahH281, of the houseH1004 of IssacharH3485, conspired against him; and BaashaH1201 smote him at GibbethonH1405, which [belonged] to the PhilistinesH6430, whenH834 NadabH5070 and all IsraelH3478 were besieging GibbethonH1405. 28And BaashaH1201 slew him in the third yearH8141 of AsaH609 kingH4428 of JudahH3063, and reignedH4427 in his stead. 29And it came to pass when he wasH1961 kingH4427, he smote all the houseH1004 of JeroboamH3379; he leftH7604 to JeroboamH3379 none that breathed; until he had destroyedH8045 him, according to the wordH1697 of Jehovah which he spokeH1696 by his servantH5650 AhijahH281 the ShiloniteH7888, 30because of the sinsH2398 of JeroboamH3379 which he sinnedH2398, and wherewith he made IsraelH3478 to sinH2398; by his provocation with which he provokedH3707 Jehovah the 3GodH430 of IsraelH3478 to angerH3707. 31And the restH3499 of the acts of NadabH5070, and all that he did, are they not writtenH3789 in the bookH5612 of the chronicles of the kingsH4428 of IsraelH3478? 32And there wasH1961 warH4421 between AsaH609 and BaashaH1201 kingH4428 of IsraelH3478 all their daysH3117. 33In the third yearH8141 of AsaH609 kingH4428 of JudahH3063 began BaashaH1201 the sonH1121 of AhijahH281 to reignH4427 over all IsraelH3478 in TirzahH8656, for twenty-four yearsH8141. 34And he did evilH7451 in the sight of Jehovah, and walked in the wayH1870 of JeroboamH3379, and in his sinH2398 whereH834 with he madeH6213 IsraelH3478 to sinH2398.
