Darby Bible
Corinthians 2:1-8
And I, whenG2064 I cameG2064 to you, brethren, cameG2064 not in excellency of wordG3056, or wisdomG4678, announcing to you the testimonyG3142 of 1GodG2316.
For I did not judgeG2919 [it well] to know anythingG5100 among you save JesusG2424 ChristG5547, and him crucifiedG4717.
And I was with you in weaknessG769 and in fearG5401 and in muchG4183 trembling;
and my wordG3056 and my preachingG2782, not in persuasive wordsG3056 of wisdomG4678, but in demonstration of [the] SpiritG4151 and of powerG1411;
that your faithG4102 might not stand in men's wisdomG4678, but in 2God's powerG1411.
But we speakG2980 wisdomG4678 among the perfectG5046; but wisdomG4678 not of this world, nor of the rulersG758 of this world, who come to nought.
But we speakG2980 3God's wisdomG4678 in [a] mysteryG3466, that hidden [wisdomG4678] which 4GodG2316 had predetermined before the agesG165 for our gloryG1391:
which noneG3762 of the princes of this ageG165 knewG1097, (for had they knownG1097, they would not have crucifiedG4717 the LordG2962 of gloryG1391;)
