John 6:61-71

AwareG1492G1722G1438 thatG3754 HisG846 disciplesG3101 were grumblingG1111 aboutG4012 thisG3778 teaching, JesusG2424 askedG2036 themG846, “Does thisG3778 offendG4624 youG4771? 62ThenG3767 what will happen ifG1437 you seeG2334 theG3588 SonG5207 of ManG444 ascendG305 to whereG3699 He wasG1510 beforeG4386?

63TheG3588 SpiritG4151 gives lifeG2227; theG3588 fleshG4561 profitsG5623 nothingG3756G3762. TheG3588 wordsG4487 IG1473 have spokenG2980 to youG4771 areG1510 spiritG4151 andG2532 they areG1510 lifeG2222. 64HoweverG235, there areG1510 someG5100 ofG1537 youG4771 whoG3739 do not believeG3756G4100.” (ForG1063 JesusG2424 had knownG1492 fromG1537 the beginningG746 whichG5101 of themG3588 did not believeG3361G4100 andG2532 whoG5101 would betrayG3860 HimG846.)

65ThenG2532 Jesus saidG2036, “ThisG3778 is whyG1223 I toldG2046 youG4771 thatG3754 no oneG3762 canG1410 comeG2064 toG4314 MeG1473 unlessG1437G3361 theG3588 FatherG3962 has granted itG1510G1325 to himG846.”

66FromG1537 thatG3778 time on manyG4183 ofG1537 HisG846 disciplesG3101 turned backG565G1519G3588G3694 andG2532 no longerG3765 walkedG4043 withG3326 HimG846.

67SoG3767 JesusG2424 askedG2036 theG3588 TwelveG1427, “Do youG3361G4771 wantG2309 to leaveG5217 tooG2532?”

68SimonG4613 PeterG4074 repliedG611, “LordG2962, toG4314 whomG5101 would we goG565? You haveG2192 the wordsG4487 of eternalG166 lifeG2222. 69WeG1473 believeG4100 andG2532 knowG1097 thatG3754 YouG4771 areG1510 theG3588 Holy OneG40 of GodG2316.1”

JesusG2424 answeredG611 themG846, “Have IG1473 notG3756 chosenG1586 youG4771, theG3588 TwelveG1427? YetG2532 oneG1520 ofG1537 youG4771 isG1510 a devilG1228!” 71He was speakingG2036 about JudasG2455, the son of SimonG4613 IscariotG2469. ForG1063 although Judas was oneG1520 ofG1537 theG3588 TwelveG1427, he was laterG3195 to betrayG3860 Jesus.
