Jeremiah 18:7-12
At any timeH7281 I might announceH1696 thatH5921 a nationH1471H5921 or kingdomH4467 will be uprootedH5428, torn downH5422, and destroyedH6. 8But if thatH1931 nationH1471 I warnedH1696 turnsH7725 from its evilH7451, then I will relentH5162 ofH5921 the disasterH7451 I had plannedH2803 to bringH6213.
And if at another timeH7281 I announceH1696H5921 that I will build upH1129 and establishH5193 a nationH1471H5921 or kingdomH4467, 10and if it doesH6213 evilH7451 in My sightH5869 and does notH1115 listenH8085 to My voiceH6963, then I will relentH5162 ofH5921 the goodH2896 I had intended for itH559H3190.
NowH6258 thereforeH4994, tellH559H413 the menH376 of JudahH3063 andH5921 the residentsH3427 of JerusalemH3389 that this is whatH3541H559 the LORDH3068 saysH559: ‘BeholdH2009, IH595 am planningH3335 a disasterH7451 for youH5921 and devisingH2803 a planH4284 against youH5921. TurnH7725 nowH4994, each of youH376, from your evilH7451 waysH1870, and correctH3190 your waysH1870 and deedsH4611.’
But they will replyH559, ‘It is hopelessH2976H3588. We will followH1980H310 our own plansH4284, and each of usH376 will actH6213 according to the stubbornnessH8307 of his evilH7451 heartH3820.’”
