Isaiah 30:6-14
6This is the burdenH4853 against the beastsH929 of the NegevH5045:
Through a landH776 of hardshipH6869 and distressH6695,of lionessH3833 and lionH3918,of viperH660 and flyingH5774 serpentH8314,they carryH5375 their wealthH2428 onH5921 the backsH3802 of donkeysH5895and their treasuresH214 onH5921 the humpsH1707 of camelsH1581,toH5921 a peopleH5971 of noH3808 profit to themH3276.7Egypt’sH4714 helpH5826 is futileH1892 and emptyH7385;thereforeH3651 I have calledH7121 herH2063RahabH7293 WhoH1992 Sits StillH7674.1
8GoH935 nowH6258, writeH3789 it onH5921 a tabletH3871 in their presenceH854and inscribeH2710 it onH5921 a scrollH5612;it will beH1961 for the daysH3117 to comeH314,a witnessH5703 foreverH5704 and everH5769.9TheseH1931 are rebelliousH4805 peopleH5971, deceitfulH3586 childrenH1121,childrenH1121 unwillingH3808H14 to obeyH8085 the LORD’sH3068 instructionH8451.10TheyH834 sayH559 to the seersH7203,“StopH3808 seeing visionsH7200!”and to the prophetsH2374,“Do notH3808 prophesyH2372 to us the truthH5229!SpeakH1696 to us pleasant wordsH2513;prophesyH2372 illusionsH4123.11Get outH5493 ofH4480 the wayH1870; turn offH5186H4480 the roadH734.Rid usH7673 ofH6440 the HolyH6918 One of IsraelH3478!”
12ThereforeH3651 this is whatH3541 the HolyH6918 One of IsraelH3478 saysH559:
“BecauseH3282 you have rejectedH3988 thisH2088 messageH1697,trustingH982 in oppressionH6233 and relyingH8172 on deceitH3868,13thisH2088 iniquityH5771 of yoursH1961 is like a breachH6556 about to failH5307,a bulgeH1158 in a highH7682 wallH2346,whose collapseH7667 will comeH935 suddenlyH6597—in an instantH6621!14It will breakH7665 in piecesH7667 like a potter’sH3335 jarH5035,shatteredH3807 so that no fragmentH3808H2550 can be foundH3808.Not a shardH2789 will be foundH4672 in the dustH4386large enough to scoopH2846 the coalsH784 from a hearthH3344or to skimH2834 the waterH4325 from a cisternH1360.”
