The Burden against Tyre
(Ezekiel 26:1–21)
1This is the burdenH4853 against TyreH6865:
At thatH1931 timeH3117 TyreH6865 will be forgottenH7911 for seventyH7657 yearsH8141—the spanH3117 of aH259 king’s lifeH4428. But at the endH7093 of seventyH7657 yearsH8141, it will happenH1961 to TyreH6865 as in the songH7892 of the harlotH2181:
17And atH1961 the endH7093 of seventyH7657 yearsH8141, the LORDH3068 will restoreH6485 TyreH6865. Then she will returnH7725 to hireH868 as a prostituteH2181 and sell herselfH854 to allH3605 the kingdomsH4467 onH5921 the faceH6440 of the earthH127. 18Yet her profitsH5504 and wagesH868 will beH1961 set apartH6944 to the LORDH3068; they will notH3808 be storedH686H3808 or savedH2630, forH3588 herH1961 profitH5504 will go to those who liveH3427 beforeH6440 the LORDH3068, for abundantH7654 foodH398 and fineH6266 clothingH4374.
