26Our childrenטַפֵּ֣נוּta.Pe.nuH2945,our wivesנָשֵׁ֔ינוּna.Shei.nuH802,our livestockמִקְנֵ֖נוּmik.Ne.nuH4735,and allוְכָל־ve.kholH3605our animalsבְּהֶמְתֵּ֑נוּbe.hem.Te.nuH929will remainיִֽהְיוּ־yih.yu-H1961hereשָׁ֖םshamH8033in the citiesבְּעָרֵ֥יbe.'a.ReiH5892of Gileadהַגִּלְעָֽד׃ha.gil.'AdH1568.

27But your servantsוַעֲבָדֶ֨יךָva.'a.va.Dei.khaH5650are equippedחֲל֥וּץcha.LutzH2502for warצָבָ֛אtza.Va'H6635,and every manכָּל־kol-H3605will cross overיַֽעַבְר֜וּya.'av.RuH5674to the battleלַמִּלְחָמָ֑הla.mil.cha.MahH4421beforeלִפְנֵ֥יlif.NeiH6440the LORDיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068,just asכַּאֲשֶׁ֥רka.'a.SherH834our lordאֲדֹנִ֖י'a.do.NiH113saysדֹּבֵֽר׃do.VerH1696.”

28So Mosesמֹשֶׁ֔הmo.ShehH4872gave ordersוַיְצַ֤וvay.TzavH6680about themאֵ֚ת'etH853to Eleazarאֶלְעָזָ֣ר'el.'a.ZarH499the priestהַכֹּהֵ֔ןha.ko.HenH3548וְאֵ֖תve.'EtH853,to Joshuaיְהוֹשֻׁ֣עַye.ho.Shu.a'H3091sonבִּן־bin-H1121of Nunנ֑וּןNunH5126וְאֶת־ve.'EtH853,and to the familyאֲב֥וֹת'a.VotH1leadersרָאשֵׁ֛יra.SheiH7218of the tribesהַמַּטּ֖וֹתha.ma.TotH4294of Israelלִבְנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃liv.Nei Yis.ra.'ElH1121 H3478.

29And Mosesמֹשֶׁ֜הmo.ShehH4872saidוַיֹּ֨אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to themאֲלֵהֶ֗ם'a.le.HemH413, “Ifאִם־'im-H518the Gaditesבְנֵי־ גָ֣דve.nei- gadH1121 H1410and Reubenitesוּבְנֵי־ רְאוּבֵ֣ן׀u.ve.nei- re.'u.VenH1121 H7205crossיַעַבְר֣וּya.'av.RuH5674the Jordanהַיַּרְדֵּ֞ןhai.yar.DenH3383with youאִ֠תְּכֶם'I.te.khemH854אֶֽת־'et-H853,with everyכָּל־kol-H3605man armedחָל֤וּץcha.LutzH2502for battleלַמִּלְחָמָה֙la.mil.cha.MahH4421beforeלִפְנֵ֣יlif.NeiH6440the LORDיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068,and the landהָאָ֖רֶץha.'A.retzH776is subduedוְנִכְבְּשָׁ֥הve.nikh.be.ShahH3533before youלִפְנֵיכֶ֑םlif.nei.KhemH6440,then you are to giveוּנְתַתֶּ֥םu.ne.ta.TemH5414themאֶת־'et-H853the landאֶ֥רֶץ'E.retzH776of Gileadהַגִּלְעָ֖דha.gil.'AdH1568as a possessionלַאֲחֻזָּֽה׃la.'a.chu.ZahH272.

30But ifוְאִם־ve.'im-H518they do notלֹ֧אlo'H3808arm themselvesחֲלוּצִ֖יםcha.lu.TzimH2502andgo acrossיַֽעַבְר֛וּya.'av.RuH5674with youאִתְּכֶ֑ם'i.te.KhemH854,then they must accept their possessionוְנֹֽאחֲז֥וּve.no.cha.ZuH270among youבְתֹכְכֶ֖םve.to.khe.KhemH8432in the landבְּאֶ֥רֶץbe.'E.retzH776of Canaanכְּנָֽעַן׃ke.Na.'anH3667.”

39The descendantsבְּנֵ֨יbe.NeiH1121of Machirמָכִ֧ירma.KhirH4353sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Manassehמְנַשֶּׁ֛הme.na.ShehH4519wentוַיֵּ֨לְכ֜וּvai.Ye.le.KhuH1980to Gileadגִּלְעָ֖דָהgil.'A.dahH1568,captured itוַֽיִּלְכְּדֻ֑הָvai.yil.ke.Du.haH3920,and drove outוַיּ֖וֹרֶשׁvai.Yo.reshH3423אֶת־'et-H853the Amoritesהָאֱמֹרִ֥יha.'e.mo.RiH567who wereאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834there.

40So Mosesמֹשֶׁה֙mo.ShehH4872אֶת־'et-H853gaveוַיִּתֵּ֤ןvai.yi.TenH5414Gileadהַגִּלְעָ֔דha.gil.'AdH1568to the clan of Machirלְמָכִ֖ירle.ma.KhirH4353sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Manassehמְנַשֶּׁ֑הme.na.ShehH4519,and they settledוַיֵּ֖שֶׁבvai.Ye.shevH3427there.
