2Ifכִּֽי־ki-H3588a manאִישׁ֩'ishH376makesיִדֹּ֨רyi.DorH5087a vowנֶ֜דֶרNe.derH5088to the LORDH3068orאֽוֹ־'ov-H176swearsהִשָּׁ֤בַעhi.Sha.va'H7650an oathשְׁבֻעָה֙she.vu.'AhH7621to obligateלֶאְסֹ֤רle'.SorH631himselfנַפְשׁ֔וֹnaf.ShoH5315עַל־'al-H5921by a pledgeאִסָּר֙'i.SarH632,he must notלֹ֥אlo'H3808breakיַחֵ֖לya.ChelH2490his wordH1697;he must doיַעֲשֶֽׂה׃ya.'a.SehH6213everythingכְּכָל־ke.khol-H3605he has promisedהַיֹּצֵ֥א מִפִּ֖יוhai.yo.Tze' mi.PivH3318 H6310.

3And ifH3588a womanוְאִשָּׁ֕הve.'i.ShahH802in her father’sאָבִ֖יהָ'a.Vi.haH1houseבְּבֵ֥יתbe.VeitH1004during her youthבִּנְעֻרֶֽיהָ׃bin.'u.Rei.haH5271makesH5087a vowH5088to the LORDH3068or obligates herselfH631by a pledgeH632,

4and her fatherH1אֶת־'et-H853hears aboutוְשָׁמַ֨עve.sha.Ma'H8085her vowH5088or pledgeH632אֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834H631נַפְשָׁ֔הּnaf.ShahH5315עַל־'al-H5921butH1says nothingוְהֶחֱרִ֥ישׁve.he.che.RishH2790to her,then allכָּל־kol-H3605the vowsH5088orוְכָל־ve.kholH3605pledgesH632by whichאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834she has boundH631herselfוְקָ֙מוּ֙ עַל־ נַפְשָׁ֖הּve.Ka.mu 'al- naf.ShahH5315 H6965 H5921shall standיָקֽוּם׃ya.KumH6965.

5But ifוְאִם־ve.'im-H518her fatherH1H853prohibits herהֵנִ֨יאhe.Ni'H5106on the dayבְּי֣וֹםbe.YomH3117he hearsH8085about itH3605,then noneלֹ֣אlo'H3808of the vowsH5088or pledgesH632by whichH834she has boundH631herselfH5315H5921shall standH6965.The LORDוַֽיהוָה֙va.Yah.wehH3068will absolveיִֽסְלַח־yis.lach-H5545herbecauseכִּי־ki-H3588her fatherH1H853has prohibited herהֵנִ֥יאhe.Ni'H5106.

6IfH518a woman marriesלְאִ֔ישׁle.'IshH1961 H376while under a vowH5088 H5921orא֚וֹ'oH176rash promiseמִבְטָ֣א שְׂפָתֶ֔יהָmiv.Ta' se.fa.Tei.haH4008 H8193by whichH834sheH5315has boundH631herselfH5921,

7and her husbandH376hears of itוְשָׁמַ֥עve.sha.Ma'H8085but says nothingוְהֶחֱרִ֣ישׁve.he.che.RishH2790to heron that dayבְּי֥וֹםbe.YomH3117שָׁמְע֖וֹsha.me.'OH8085,then the vowsH5088וְקָ֣מוּve.Ka.muH6965or pledgesוֶֽאֱסָרֶ֛הָve.'e.sa.Re.haH632by whichH834sheH5315has boundH631herselfH5921shall standיָקֻֽמוּ׃ya.Ku.muH6965.

8But ifוְ֠אִםVe.'imH518her husbandH376prohibitsיָנִ֣יאya.Ni'H5106herאוֹתָהּ֒'o.TahH853whenH3117he hears of itH8085,he nullifiesוְהֵפֵ֗רve.he.FerH6565אֶת־'et-H853the vowH5088thatH834binds herH5921וְאֵת֙ve.'EtH853or the rash promiseמִבְטָ֣א שְׂפָתֶ֔יהָmiv.Ta' se.fa.Tei.haH4008 H8193H834sheH5315has madeH631 H5921,and the LORDוַיהוָ֖הva.Yah.wehH3068will absolveיִֽסְלַֽח־yis.lach-H5545her.

9Everyכֹּ֛לkolH3605H834vowH5088a widowאַלְמָנָ֖ה'al.ma.NahH490or divorced womanוּגְרוּשָׁ֑הu.ge.ru.ShahH1644pledges to fulfillH631 H5921 H5315is bindingיָק֥וּםya.KumH6965on herH5921.

10Ifוְאִם־ve.'im-H518a woman in her husband’sאִישָׁ֖הּ'i.ShahH376houseבֵּ֥יתbeitH1004has made a vowנָדָ֑רָהna.Da.rahH5087orאֽוֹ־'ov-H176put herselfH5315underH5921an obligationאִסָּ֛ר'i.SarH631 H632with an oathבִּשְׁבֻעָֽה׃bish.vu.'AhH7621,

11and her husbandH376hears of itוְשָׁמַ֤עve.sha.Ma'H8085but says nothingוְהֶחֱרִ֣שׁve.he.che.RishH2790to herand does notלֹ֥אlo'H3808prohibit herהֵנִ֖יאhe.Ni'H5106אֹתָ֑הּ'o.TahH853,then allכָּל־kol-H3605the vowsנְדָרֶ֔יהָne.da.Rei.haH5088וְקָ֙מוּ֙ve.Ka.muH6965orוְכָל־ve.kholH3605pledgesH632by whichאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834she has boundH631herselfH5315 H5921shall standיָקֽוּם׃ya.KumH6965.

12But ifוְאִם־ve.'im-H518her husbandH376nullifies themהָפֵר֩ha.FerH6565on the dayבְּי֣וֹםbe.YomH3117he hears of themH8085,then nothingH3605 H3808that came fromמוֹצָ֨אmo.Tza'H4161her lipsשְׂפָתֶ֧יהָse.fa.Tei.haH8193,whether her vowsH5088H5315or pledgesH632,shall standH6965.Her husbandיָפֵ֨רya.FerH376 H6565has nullified themהֲפֵרָ֔םha.fe.RamH6565H853,and the LORDוַיהוָ֖הva.Yah.wehH3068will absolveיִֽסְלַֽח־yis.lach-H5545her.

13Her husbandH376may confirmH6965 H376or nullifyH6565anyH3605vowH5088or anyH3605swornשְׁבֻעַ֥תshe.vu.'AtH7621pledgeH632to denyלְעַנֹּ֣תle.'a.NotH6031herselfH5315.

14But ifוְאִם־ve.'im-H518her husbandH376says nothingH2790to herfrom dayמִיּ֣וֹםmi.YomH3117toאֶל־'el-H413dayיוֹם֒yOmH3117,then he confirmsH6965אֶת־'et-H853allH3605the vowsH5088andא֥וֹ'oH176אֶת־'et-H853H3605pledgesH632thatאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834bind herעָלֶ֑יהָ'a.Lei.haH5921.He has confirmedH6965themאֹתָ֔ם'o.TamH853,becauseכִּי־ki-H3588he said nothingH2790to heron the dayבְּי֥וֹםbe.YomH3117he heard about themשָׁמְעֽוֹ׃sha.me.'OH8085.

15But ifH518he nullifiesH6565themH853afterאַחֲרֵ֣י'a.cha.ReiH310he hears of themH8085,then he will bearוְנָשָׂ֖אve.na.Sa'H5375herH853iniquityעֲוֹנָֽהּ׃'a.vo.NahH5771.”

16Theseאֵ֣לֶּה'E.lehH428are the statutesהַֽחֻקִּ֗יםha.chu.KimH2706thatאֲשֶׁ֨ר'a.SherH834the LORDיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068H853commandedצִוָּ֤הtzi.VahH6680Mosesמֹשֶׁ֔הmo.ShehH4872concerning the relationship betweenבֵּ֥יןbeinH996a manאִ֖ישׁ'ishH376and his wifeלְאִשְׁתּ֑וֹle.'ish.ToH802,and betweenבֵּֽין־bein-H996a fatherאָ֣ב'avH1and a young daughterלְבִתּ֔וֹ בִּנְעֻרֶ֖יהָle.vi.To bin.'u.Rei.haH1323 H5271still in hisאָבִֽיהָ׃ פ'a.Vi.haH1homeבֵּ֥יתbeitH1004.
