4Then the LORDיְהוָ֜הYah.wehH3068saidוַיֹּ֨אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559toאֶל־'el-H413Mosesמֹשֶׁ֗הmo.ShehH4872, “Takeקַ֚חkachH3947אֶת־'et-H853allכָּל־kol-H3605the leadersרָאשֵׁ֣יra.SheiH7218of the peopleהָעָ֔םha.'AmH5971and executeוְהוֹקַ֥עve.ho.Ka'H3363themאוֹתָ֛ם'o.TamH853inנֶ֣גֶדNe.gedH5048broad daylightהַשָּׁ֑מֶשׁha.Sha.meshH8121before the LORDלַיהוָ֖הla.Yah.wehH3068,so thatיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068Hisfierceחֲר֥וֹןcha.RonH2740angerאַף־'af-H639may turn awayוְיָשֹׁ֛בve.ya.ShoH7725from Israelמִיִּשְׂרָאֵֽל׃mi.Yis.ra.'ElH3478.”

7On seeing thisוַיַּ֗רְאvai.Yar'H7200,Phinehasפִּֽינְחָס֙pi.ne.ChasH6372sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Eleazarאֶלְעָזָ֔ר'el.'a.ZarH499,the sonבֶּֽן־ben-H1121of Aaronאַהֲרֹ֖ן'a.ha.RonH175the priestהַכֹּהֵ֑ןha.ko.HenH3548,got upוַיָּ֙קָם֙vai.Ya.komH6965fromמִתּ֣וֹךְmi.TokhH8432the assemblyהָֽעֵדָ֔הha.'e.DahH5712,tookוַיִּקַּ֥חvai.yi.KachH3947a spearרֹ֖מַחRo.machH7420in his handבְּיָדֽוֹ׃be.ya.DoH3027,
