8“Wait hereעִמְד֣וּ'im.DuH5975until I find outוְאֶשְׁמְעָ֔הve.'esh.me.'AhH8085whatמַה־mah-H4100the LORDיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068commandsיְצַוֶּ֥הye.tza.VehH6680concerning you,”Mosesמֹשֶׁ֑הmo.ShehH4872repliedוַיֹּ֥אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559אֲלֵהֶ֖ם'a.le.HemH413.

9Then the LORDיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068saidוַיְדַבֵּ֥רvay.da.BerH1696toאֶל־'el-H413Mosesמֹשֶׁ֥הmo.ShehH4872לֵּאמֹֽר׃le.MorH559,

10“Tellדַּבֵּ֛ר אֶל־da.Ber 'el-H1696 H413the Israelitesבְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל לֵאמֹ֑רbe.Nei Yis.ra.'El le.MorH1121 H3478 H559: ‘Whenכִּי־ki-H3588any oneH376of you orאוֹ֩'oH176your descendantsלְדֹרֹ֣תֵיכֶ֔םle.do.Ro.tei.KhemH1755isיִהְיֶֽה־yih.yeh-H1961uncleanטָמֵ֣א׀ta.Me'H2931because of a dead bodyלָנֶ֡פֶשׁla.Ne.feshH5315,orא֚וֹ'oH176is awayרְחֹקָ֜הׄre.cho.KahH7350on a journeyבְדֶ֨רֶךְve.De.rekhH1870,he may still observeוְעָ֥שָׂהve.'A.sahH6213the Passoverפֶ֖סַחFe.sachH6453to the LORDלַיהוָֽה׃la.Yah.wehH3068.

14Ifוְכִֽי־ve.khi-H3588a foreignerגֵּ֗רGerH1616dwellingיָג֨וּרya.GurH1481among youאִתְּכֶ֜ם'i.te.KhemH854wants to observeוְעָ֤שָֽׂהve.'A.sahH6213the Passoverפֶ֙סַח֙fe.sachH6453to the LORDלַֽיהוָ֔הla.Yah.wehH3068,he is to doיַעֲשֶׂ֑הya.'a.SehH6213soכֵּ֣ןkenH3651according to the Passoverהַפֶּ֛סַחha.Pe.sachH6453statuteכְּחֻקַּ֥תke.chu.KatH2708and its ordinancesוּכְמִשְׁפָּט֖וֹu.khe.mish.pa.ToH4941.You are to applyיִהְיֶ֣הyih.YehH1961the sameאַחַת֙'a.ChatH259statuteחֻקָּ֤הchu.KahH2708to both the foreignerוְלַגֵּ֖רve.la.GerH1616and the nativeוּלְאֶזְרַ֥חu.le.'ez.RachH249of the landהָאָֽרֶץ׃ פha.'A.retzH776.’”

16It remainedיִהְיֶ֣הyih.YehH1961that wayכֵּ֚ןkenH3651continuallyתָמִ֔ידta.MidH8548;the cloudהֶעָנָ֖ןhe.'a.NanH6051would cover the tabernacleיְכַסֶּ֑נּוּye.khas.Se.nuH3680by day,and at nightלָֽיְלָה׃La.ye.lahH3915it would appearוּמַרְאֵה־u.mar.'eh-H4758like fireאֵ֖שׁ'eshH784.

17Wheneverוּלְפִ֞יu.le.FiH6310the cloudהֶֽעָנָן֙he.'a.NanH6051was liftedהֵעָלֹ֤תhe.'a.LotH5927from aboveמֵעַ֣לme.'AlH5921the Tentהָאֹ֔הֶל וְאַ֣חֲרֵי־ כֵ֔ןha.'O.hel ve.'A.cha.rei- KhenH168 H310 H3651,the Israelitesבְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑לbe.Nei Yis.ra.'ElH1121 H3478would set outיִסְע֖וּyis.'UH5265,and whereverוּבִמְק֗וֹםu.vim.KomH4725אֲשֶׁ֤ר'a.SherH834the cloudשָׁם֙ הֶֽעָנָ֔ןsham he.'a.NanH6051 H8033settledיִשְׁכָּן־yish.kon-H7931,thereשָׁ֥םshamH8033the Israelitesבְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃be.Nei Yis.ra.'ElH1121 H3478would campיַחֲנ֖וּya.cha.NuH2583.

21Sometimesוְיֵ֞שׁve.YeshH3426אֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834the cloudהֶֽעָנָן֙he.'a.NanH6051remainedיִהְיֶ֤הyih.YehH1961only from eveningמֵעֶ֣רֶבme.'E.revH6153untilעַד־'ad-H5704morningבֹּ֔קֶרBo.kerH1242,and whenהֶֽעָנָ֛ןhe.'a.NanH6051itliftedוְנַעֲלָ֧הve.na.'a.LahH5927in the morningבַּבֹּ֖קֶרba.Bo.kerH1242,they would set outוְנָסָ֑עוּve.na.Sa.'uH5265.Whetherא֚וֹ'oH176it wasby dayיוֹמָ֣םyo.MamH3119or by nightוָלַ֔יְלָהva.Lay.lahH3915,when the cloudהֶעָנָ֖ןhe.'a.NanH6051was taken upוְנַעֲלָ֥הve.na.'a.LahH5927,they would set outוְנָסָֽעוּ׃ve.na.Sa.'uH5265.
