Luke 18:32-43
32For he shall be deliveredG3860 up unto the GentilesG1484, and shall be mockedG1702, and shamefully treated, and spitG1716 upon: 33and they shall scourge and killG615 him: and the thirdG5154 dayG2250 he shall riseG450 againG450. 34And they understoodG1097 noneG3762 of these thingsG3778; and this sayingG3004 wasG1510 hidG2928 from them, and they perceived not the thingsG3778 that wereG1510 saidG3004.
35And it cameG1096 to passG1096, as he drew nigh unto JerichoG2410, a certainG5100 blindG5185 man satG2521 by the wayG3598 side begging: 36and hearingG191 a multitudeG3793 going by, he inquiredG4441 what this meant. 37And they toldG518 him, that JesusG2424 of NazarethG3480 passeth by. 38And he criedG994, sayingG3004, JesusG2424, thou sonG5207 of DavidG1138, have mercyG1653 on me. 39And they that wentG4254 before rebukedG2008 him, that he should hold his peace: but he criedG2896 out the moreG3123 a greatG4183 deal, Thou sonG5207 of DavidG1138, have mercyG1653 on me. 40And JesusG2424 stoodG2476, and commandedG2753 him to be broughtG71 unto him: and when he was come near, he askedG1905 him, 41What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? And he saidG3004, LordG2962, that I may receiveG308 my sightG308. 42And JesusG2424 saidG3004 unto him, ReceiveG308 thy sightG308: thy faithG4102 hath made thee whole. 43And immediatelyG3916 he receivedG308 his sightG308, and followedG190 him, glorifyingG1392 GodG2316: and all the peopleG2992, when they sawG3708 it, gaveG1325 praiseG136 unto GodG2316.
