Hebrews 3
American Standard Version
1Wherefore, holyG40 brethren, partakersG3353 of a heavenlyG2032 callingG2821, considerG2657 the ApostleG652 and HighG749 PriestG749 of our confessionG3671, evenG2532JesusG2424; 2who wasG1510 faithfulG4103 to him that appointed him, as alsoG2532 wasG1510 MosesG3475 in all his houseG3624. 3For he hath been countedG515 worthyG515 of moreG4183 gloryG1391 than MosesG3475, by soG3745 muchG4183 as he that built the houseG3624 hath moreG4183 honorG5092 than the houseG3624. 4For every houseG3624 is builded by some oneG5100; but he that built all thingsG3956 is GodG2316. 5And MosesG3475 indeed was faithfulG4103 in all his houseG3624 as a servant, for a testimonyG3142 of those things which were afterward to be spokenG2980; 6but ChristG5547 as a sonG5207, over his houseG3624; whose houseG3624 areG1510 we, if we holdG2722 fastG2722 our boldnessG3954 and the glorying of our hopeG1680 firm unto the endG5056. 7Wherefore, even as the HolyG40 SpiritG4151 saith,
12TakeG991 heedG991, brethren, lest haply there shall beG1510 in any oneG5100 of you an evilG4190 heartG2588 of unbeliefG570, in falling awayG868 from the livingG2198 GodG2316: 13but exhortG3870 oneG5100 another dayG2250 by dayG2250, soG2443 long as it is calledG2564 To-day; lestG3361 any oneG5100 of you be hardenedG4645 by the deceitfulness of sinG266: 14for we are becomeG1096 partakersG3353 of ChristG5547, if we holdG2722 fastG2722 the beginning of our confidenceG5287 firm unto the endG5056: 15while it is saidG3004,
16For who, when they heardG191, did provoke? nay, did not all they that cameG1831 out of EgyptG125 by MosesG3475? 17And with whom was he displeased fortyG5062 yearsG2094? was it not with them that sinnedG264, whose bodies fellG4098 in the wildernessG2048? 18And to whom sware he that they should not enterG1525 into his restG2663, but to them that were disobedientG544? 19And we seeG991 that they were not ableG1410 to enterG1525 in because of unbeliefG570.
