Ezekiel 32:1-16

1And it came to pass in the twelfth yearH8141, in the twelfth monthH2320, in the first day of the monthH2320, that the wordH1697 of Jehovah came unto me, sayingH559, 2SonH1121 of manH120, takeH5375 up a lamentationH7015 over PharaohH6547 kingH4428 of EgyptH4714, and sayH559 unto him, Thou wast likened unto a youngH1121 lionH3715 of the nationsH1471: yet art thou as a monster in the seasH3220; and thou didst break forthH1518 with thy riversH5104, and troubledst the watersH4325 with thy feetH7272, and fouledst their riversH5104. 3ThusH3541 saith the LordH136 Jehovah: I will spreadH6566 out my netH7568 upon thee with a companyH6951 of manyH7227 peoplesH5971; and they shall bringH5927 thee up in my netH7568. 4And I will leave thee upon the landH776, I will cast thee forth upon the open fieldH7704, and will cause all the birdsH5775 of the heavensH8064 to settleH7931 upon thee, and I will satisfyH7646 the beasts of the whole earthH776 with thee. 5And I will lay thy fleshH1320 upon the mountainsH2022, and fillH4390 the valleysH1516 with thy height. 6I will also waterH8248 with thy bloodH1818 the landH776 wherein thou swimmest, even to the mountainsH2022; and the watercourses shall be fullH4390 of thee. 7And when I shall extinguishH3518 thee, I will coverH3680 the heavensH8064, and makeH215 the starsH3556 thereof darkH6937; I will coverH3680 the sunH8121 with a cloudH6051, and the moonH3394 shall not giveH215 its lightH216. 8All the bright lightsH3974 of heavenH8064 will I makeH5414 dark over thee, and setH5414 darknessH2822 upon thy landH776, saith the LordH136 Jehovah. 9I will also vex the heartsH3820 of manyH7227 peoplesH5971, whenH834 I shall bringH935 thy destructionH7667 among the nationsH1471, into the countries which thou hast not knownH3045. 10Yea, I will makeH8074 manyH7227 peoplesH5971 amazed at thee, and their kingsH4428 shall be horribly afraid for thee, when I shall brandish my swordH2719 before them; and they shall trembleH2729 at every momentH7281, every manH376 for his own lifeH5315, in the dayH3117 of thy fall.

11For thusH3541 saith the LordH136 Jehovah: The swordH2719 of the kingH4428 of BabylonH894 shall comeH935 upon thee. 12By the swordsH2719 of the mightyH1368 will I cause thy multitudeH1995 to fallH5307; the terrible of the nationsH1471 are they all: and they shall bring to nought the prideH1347 of EgyptH4714, and all the multitudeH1995 thereof shall be destroyedH8045. 13I will destroyH6 also all the beasts thereof from beside manyH7227 watersH4325; neither shall the footH7272 of manH120 trouble them any more, nor the hoofsH6541 of beasts trouble them. 14ThenH227 will I make their watersH4325 clear, and cause their riversH5104 to run like oilH8081, saith the LordH136 Jehovah. 15When I shall makeH5414 the landH776 of EgyptH4714 desolateH8074 and waste, a landH776 destitute of that whereof it was full, when I shall smite all them that dwellH3427 therein, then shall they knowH3045 that I am Jehovah. 16This is the lamentationH7015 wherewith they shall lament; the daughtersH1323 of the nationsH1471 shall lament therewith; over EgyptH4714, and over all her multitudeH1995, shall they lament therewith, saith the LordH136 Jehovah.
