1 Samuel 2:22-25
22Now EliH5941 was veryH3966 old; and he heardH8085 all that his sonsH1121 did unto all IsraelH3478, and how that they layH7901 with the womenH802 that did service at the doorH6607 of the tentH168 of meetingH4150. 23And he saidH559 unto them, WhyH4100 do ye such thingsH1697? for I hearH8085 of your evilH7451 dealings from all this peopleH5971. 24Nay, my sonsH1121; for it is no goodH2896 reportH8052 that I hearH8085: ye makeH8085 Jehovah’s peopleH5971 to transgressH5674. 25If oneH376 manH376 sinH2398 against another, GodH430 shall judge him; but if a manH376 sinH2398 against Jehovah, who shall entreat for him? Notwithstanding, they hearkened not unto the voiceH6963 of their fatherH1, because Jehovah was minded to slay them.
