6And it cameH935 to pass, when they wereH1961 comeH935, that he lookedH7200 on EliabH446, and saidH559, SurelyH389 Jehovah’s anointedH4899 is before him. 7But Jehovah saidH559 unto SamuelH8050, LookH7200 not on his countenance, or on the heightH6967 of his statureH6967; because I have rejectedH3988 him: for Jehovah seeth not as manH120 seeth; for manH120 looketh on the outward appearanceH4758, but Jehovah looketh on the heartH3824. 8Then JesseH3448 calledH7121 AbinadabH41, and made him passH5674 before SamuelH8050. And he saidH559, Neither hath Jehovah chosenH977 this. 9Then JesseH3448 made ShammahH8048 to passH5674 by. And he saidH559, Neither hath Jehovah chosenH977 this.
