1 Samuel 12:6-16
6And SamuelH8050 saidH559 unto the peopleH5971, It is Jehovah that appointed MosesH4872 and AaronH175, and that broughtH5927 your fathersH1 up out of the landH776 of EgyptH4714. 7NowH6258 thereforeH6258 standH3320 still, that I may plead with you before Jehovah concerning all the righteous actsH6213 of Jehovah, which he did to you and to your fathersH1. 8WhenH834 JacobH3290 was comeH935 into EgyptH4714, and your fathersH1 criedH2199 unto Jehovah, then Jehovah sentH7971 MosesH4872 and AaronH175, who broughtH935 forthH3318 your fathersH1 out of EgyptH4714, and made them to dwellH3427 in this placeH4725. 9But they forgat Jehovah their GodH430; and he soldH4376 them into the handH3027 of SiseraH5516, captain of the hostH6635 of HazorH2674, and into the handH3027 of the PhilistinesH6430, and into the handH3027 of the kingH4428 of MoabH4124; and they foughtH3898 against them. 10And they criedH2199 unto Jehovah, and saidH559, We have sinnedH2398, because we have forsaken Jehovah, and have servedH5647 the Baalim and the AshtarothH6252: but nowH6258 deliverH5337 us out of the handH3027 of our enemiesH341, and we will serveH5647 thee. 11And Jehovah sentH7971 JerubbaalH3378, and BedanH917, and JephthahH3316, and SamuelH8050, and deliveredH5337 you out of the handH3027 of your enemiesH341 on every side; and ye dweltH3427 in safety. 12And when ye sawH7200 that NahashH5176 the kingH4428 of the children of AmmonH5983 cameH935 against you, ye saidH559 unto me, Nay, but a kingH4428 shall reignH4427 over us; when Jehovah your GodH430 was your kingH4428. 13NowH6258 thereforeH6258 behold the kingH4428 whom ye have chosenH977, and whom ye have askedH7592 for: and, behold, Jehovah hath setH5414 a kingH4428 over you. 14If ye will fearH3372 Jehovah, and serveH5647 him, and hearken unto his voiceH6963, and not rebelH4784 against the commandment of Jehovah, and both ye and alsoH1571 the kingH4428 that reigneth over you beH1961 followers of Jehovah your GodH430, wellH1571: 15but if ye will not hearken unto the voiceH6963 of Jehovah, but rebelH4784 against the commandment of Jehovah, then will the handH3027 of Jehovah beH1961 against you, as it wasH1961 against your fathersH1. 16NowH6258 thereforeH6258 standH3320 still and seeH7200 this greatH1419 thingH1697, which Jehovah will do before your eyesH5869.
