A Psalm of David.

1TheLORDיְהוָ֤ה׀Yah.wehH3068is mylightאוֹרִ֣י'o.RiH216and mysalvationוְ֭יִשְׁעִיVe.yish.'iH3468; whom shall Ifearאִירָ֑א'i.Ra'H3372? theLORDיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068is thestrengthמָֽעוֹז־ma.'oz-H4581of mylifeחַ֝יַּ֗יchai.YaiH2416; of whom shall I beafraidאֶפְחָֽד׃'ef.ChadH6342?

2When thewickedמְרֵעִים֮me.re.'ImH7489, even myenemiesצָרַ֣יtza.RaiH6862and myfoesוְאֹיְבַ֣יve.'o.ye.VaiH341,cameבִּקְרֹ֤בbik.RoH7126upon me to eatupלֶאֱכֹ֪לle.'e.KholH398myfleshבְּשָׂ֫רִ֥יbe.Sa.RiH1320, theystumbledכָשְׁל֣וּkha.she.LuH3782andfellוְנָפָֽלוּ׃ve.na.Fa.luH5307.

3Though anhostמַחֲנֶה֮ma.cha.NehH4264shouldencampתַּחֲנֶ֬הta.cha.NehH2583against me, myheartלִ֫בִּ֥יli.BiH3820shall notfearיִירָ֪אyi.Ra'H3372: thoughwarמִלְחָמָ֑הmil.cha.MahH4421shouldriseתָּק֣וּםta.KumH6965against me, in this will I beconfidentבוֹטֵֽחַ׃vo.Te.achH982.

5For in thetimeבְּי֪וֹםbe.YomH3117oftroubleרָ֫עָ֥הra.'AhH7451he shallhideיִצְפְּנֵ֨נִי׀yitz.pe.Ne.niH6845me in hispavilionבְּסֻכֹּה֮be.su.KohH5520: in thesecretבְּסֵ֣תֶרbe.Se.terH5643of histabernacleאָהֳל֑וֹ'o.ho.LoH168shall hehideיַ֭סְתִּרֵנִיYas.ti.re.niH5641me; he shall set meupיְרוֹמְמֵֽנִי׃ye.ro.Me.niH7311upon arockבְּ֝צ֗וּרbe.TzurH6697.

7Hearשְׁמַע־she.ma'-H8085, OLORDיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068, when Icryאֶקְרָ֗א'ek.Ra'H7121with myvoiceקוֹלִ֥יko.LiH6963: havemercyוְחָנֵּ֥נִיve.cho.Ne.niH2603also upon me, andanswerוַעֲנֵֽנִי׃va.'a.Ne.niH6030me.

8When thou saidst,Seekבַּקְּשׁ֣וּba.ke.ShuH1245ye myfaceפָנָ֑יfa.NaiH6440; myheartלִ֭בִּיLi.biH3820saidאָמַ֣ר'a.MarH559to thee, Thyfaceפָּנֶ֖יךָpa.Nei.khaH6440,LORDיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068, will Iseekאֲבַקֵּֽשׁ׃'a.va.KeshH1245.

9Hideתַּסְתֵּ֬רtas.TerH5641not thyfaceפָּנֶ֨יךָ׀pa.Nei.khaH6440from me;putH5186not thyservantעַ֫בְדֶּ֥ךָ'av.De.khaH5650awayH5186inangerבְּאַ֗ףbe.'AfH639: thou hast been myhelpעֶזְרָתִ֥י'ez.ra.TiH5833;leaveתִּטְּשֵׁ֥נִיti.te.She.niH5203me not, neitherforsakeתַּֽ֝עַזְבֵ֗נִיta.'az.Ve.niH5800me, OGodאֱלֹהֵ֥י'e.lo.HeiH430of mysalvationיִשְׁעִֽי׃yish.'IH3468.

11Teachה֤וֹרֵ֥נִיho.Re.niH3384me thywayדַּ֫רְכֶּ֥ךָdar.Ke.khaH1870, OLORDיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068, andleadוּ֭נְחֵנִיU.ne.che.niH5148me in aplainמִישׁ֑וֹרmi.ShorH4334pathבְּאֹ֣רַחbe.'O.rachH734, because of myenemiesשׁוֹרְרָֽי׃sho.RaiH8324.
