The Red Dragon, Satan

3ThenG2532 6anotherG243 signG4592 appearedG3708 in heavenG3772: and beholdG2400, a greatG3173 redG4450 7dragonG1404 havingG2192 8sevenG2033 headsG2776 and 9tenG1176 hornsG2768, and on his headsG2776 were 10sevenG2033 crownsG1238. 4And his tailG3769 sweptG4951 awayG4951 a 11thirdG5154 of the starsG792 of heavenG3772 and 12hurledG906 them to the earthG1093. And the 13dragonG1404 stoodG2476 beforeG1799 the womanG1135 who wasG3195 aboutG3195 toG3195 giveG5088 birthG5088, soG2443 thatG2443 whenG3752 she gaveG5088 birthG5088 14he might devourG2719 her ChildG5043.

The Male Child, Christ

5And 15she gaveG5088 birthG5088 to a SonG5207, a maleG733, whoG3739 isG3195 goingG3195 toG3195 1617ruleG4165 allG3956 the 18nationsG1484 with a rodG4464 of ironG4603; and her ChildG5043 was 19caughtG726 up to GodG2316 and to His throneG2362. 6ThenG2532 the womanG1135 fledG5343 into the wildernessG2048 whereG3699 she hadG2192 a placeG5117 preparedG2090 by GodG2316, soG2443 thatG2443 thereG1563 20she would be nourishedG5142 for 211,260G5507G1250G1835 daysG2250.

The Angel, Michael

7And there was warG4171 in heavenG3772, 22MichaelG3413 and his angelsG32 wagingG4170 warG4171 with the 23dragonG1404. The dragonG1404 and 24his angelsG32 wagedG4170 warG4171, 8and they did not prevailG2480, and there was noG3761 longerG2089 a placeG5117 foundG2147 for them in heavenG3772. 9And the greatG3173 25dragonG1404 was thrownG906 down, the 26serpentG3789 of oldG744 who is calledG2564 the devilG1228 and 27SatanG4567, who 28deceivesG4105 the wholeG3650 29worldG3625; he was 30thrownG906 down to the earthG1093, and his angelsG32 were thrownG906 down with him. 10ThenG2532 I heardG191 31a loudG3173 voiceG5456 in heavenG3772, sayingG3004,

“NowG737 the 32salvationG4991, and the powerG1411, and the 33kingdomG932 of our GodG2316 and the authorityG1849 of His ChristG5547 have comeG1096, for the 34accuserG2725 of our brothersG80 and sisters has been thrownG906 down, the one who accusesG2723 them beforeG1799 our GodG2316 dayG2250 and nightG3571. 11And they 35overcameG3528 him becauseG1223 of 36the bloodG129 of the LambG721 and becauseG1223 of 37the wordG3056 of their testimonyG3141, and they 38did not loveG25 their lifeG5590 even 39whenG891 facedG891 withG891 deathG2288. 12For thisG3778 reasonG1223, 40rejoiceG2165, you heavensG3772 and 41you who dwellG4637 in them. 42WoeG3759 to the earthG1093 and the seaG2281, becauseG3754 43the devilG1228 has comeG2597 downG2597 to you withG2192 greatG3173 wrathG2372, knowingG3609 that he hasG2192 only 44a shortG3641 timeG2540.”

13And whenG3753 the 45dragonG1404 sawG3708 that he was thrownG906 down to the earthG1093, he persecutedG1377 46the womanG1135 whoG3748 gaveG5088 birthG5088 to the maleG733 Child. 14But the 47twoG1417 wingsG4420 of the greatG3173 eagleG105 were givenG1325 to the womanG1135, soG2443 thatG2443 she could flyG4072 48into the wildernessG2048 to her placeG5117, whereG3699 she was nourishedG5142 for 49a timeG2540, timesG2540, and halfG2255 a timeG2540, awayG575 from the presenceG4383 of the serpentG3789. 15And the 50serpentG3789 hurledG906 waterG5204 likeG5613 a riverG4215 out of his mouthG4750 afterG3694 the womanG1135, soG2443 thatG2443 he might causeG4160 her to be sweptG4216 awayG4216 withG4216 theG4216 floodG4216. 1651But the earthG1093 helpedG997 the womanG1135, and the earthG1093 openedG455 its mouthG4750 and drankG2666 upG2666 the riverG4215 whichG3739 the dragonG1404 had hurledG906 out of his mouthG4750. 17SoG2532 the dragonG1404 wasG3710 enragedG3710 with the womanG1135, and wentG565 offG565 to 52makeG4160 warG4171 with the restG3062 of her 5354childrenG4690, who 55keepG5083 the commandmentsG1785 of GodG2316 and 56holdG2192 to the testimonyG3141 of JesusG2424.
