2throughδι᾽di᾽G1223whomοὗhouG3739we alsoG2532haveobtainedἐσχήκαμενeschēkamenG2192our introductionπροσαγωγὴνprosagōgēnG4318by faithπίστειpisteiG4102into thisταύτηνtautēnG3778graceχάρινcharinG5485in whichᾗhēG3739we standἑστήκαμεν,hestēkamenG2476; andwe celebrateκαυχώμεθαkauchōmethaG2744in hopeἐλπίδιelpidiG1680of the gloryδόξηςdoxēsG1391of Godθεοῦ.theouG2316.

5and hopeἐλπὶςelpisG1680does not disappointκαταισχύνει,kataischuneiG2617,becauseὅτιhotiG3754the loveἀγάπηagapēG26of GodθεοῦtheouG2316has beenpouredἐκκέχυταιekkechutaiG1632outG1632withinἐνenG1722our heartsκαρδίαιςkardiaisG2588throughδιὰdiaG1223the HolyἁγίουhagiouG40SpiritπνεύματοςpneumatosG4151who was givenδοθέντοςdothentosG1325to us.

6For while we were stillG2089helplessἀσθενῶνasthenōnG772, at therightG2540timeκαιρὸνkaironG2540ChristΧριστὸςChristosG5547diedἀπέθανεν·apethanenG599for the ungodlyἀσεβῶνasebōnG765.

7For oneτιςtisG5100will hardlyμόλιςmolisG3433dieἀποθανεῖται,apothaneitaiG599for a righteousδικαίουdikaiouG1342personG1342;thoughG1063perhapsτάχαtachaG5029for the goodἀγαθοῦagathouG18personG18someoneτιςtisG5100would evenκαὶkaiG2532dareτολμᾷtolmaG5111to dieἀποθανεῖν·apothaneinG599.

8But Godθεός,theosG2316demonstratesσυνίστησινsunistēsinG4921His ownἑαυτοῦhe'autouG1438loveἀγάπηνagapēnG26towardεἰςeisG1519us, in that while we were stillἔτιetiG2089sinnersἁμαρτωλῶνhamartōlōnG268,ChristΧριστὸςChristosG5547diedἀπέθανεν.apethanenG599for us.

9MuchπολλῷpollōG4183moreμᾶλλονmallonG3123thenοὖνounG3767,having nowνῦνnunG3568been justifiedδικαιωθέντεςdikaiōthentesG1344by His bloodαἵματιaimatiG129,we shall be savedσωθησόμεθαsōthēsomethaG4982from the wrathὀργῆς.¶orgēsG3709of Godthroughδι᾽di᾽G1223Him.

10For ifΕἰEiG1487while we wereenemiesἐχθροὶechthroiG2190we were reconciledκατηλλάγημενkatēllagēmenG2644to GodθεῷtheōG2316throughδιὰdiaG1223the deathθανάτουthanatouG2288of His SonυἱοῦhuiouG5207,muchπολλῷpollōG4183moreμᾶλλονmallonG3123,having been reconciledκαταλλαγέντεςkatallagentesG2644,we shall be savedσωθησόμεθαsōthēsomethaG4982by His lifeζωῇzōēaG2222.

11And not onlyG3440this, butwe alsoκαὶkaiG2532celebrateκαυχώμενοιkauchōmenoiG2744in GodθεῷtheōG2316throughδιὰdiaG1223our LordκυρίουkuriouG2962JesusἸησοῦIēsouG2424ChristΧριστοῦChristouG5547,throughδι᾽di᾽G1223whomοὗhouG3739we have nowνῦνnunG3568receivedἐλάβομεν.¶elabomenG2983the reconciliationκαταλλαγὴνkatallagēnG2643.
