23And He saidG3004to them,“NoG3843doubtG3843you willquoteG3004thisταύτην·tautēnG3778proverbπαραβολὴνparabolēnG3850to Me: ‘Physicianἰατρέ,iatreG2395,healθεράπευσονtherapeusonG2323yourselfG4572!AllὅσαhosaG3745the miracles thatwe heardἠκούσαμενēkousamenG191were doneγενόμεναgenomenaG1096in CapernaumG2746,doποίησονpoiēsonG4160hereὧδεhōdeG5602inYour hometownπατρίδιpatridiG3968asκαὶkaiG2532wellκαὶkaiG2532.’”

24But He saidλέγωlegōG3004,“TrulyἀμὴνamēnG281I sayG3004to you,noοὐδεὶςoudeisG3762prophetπροφήτηςprophētēsG4396is welcomeδεκτόςdektosG1184in his hometownπατρίδιpatridiG3968.

25But I sayλέγωlegōG3004to you in truthἀληθείαςalētheiasG225,there were manyπολλαὶpollaiG4183widowsχῆραιchēraiG5503in IsraelἸσραὴλIsraēlG2474in the daysἡμέραιςhēmeraisG2250of ElijahἨλίουĒliouG2243,whenὅτεhoteG3753the skyοὐρανὸςouranosG3772was shutἐκλείσθηekleisthēG2808upG2808for threeτρίαtriaG5140yearsἔτηetēG2094and sixἕξ,hexG1803monthsμῆναςmēnasG3376,whenὡςhōsG5613asevereμέγαςmegasG3173famineλιμὸςlimosG3042cameἐγένετοegenetoG1096overG1909allπᾶσανpasanG3956the landγῆν·gēnG1093;

26and yetElijahἨλίαςĒliasG2243was sentἐπέμφθηepemphthēG3992to noneοὐδεμίανoudemianG3762of them, but only toZarephathΣάρεπταSareptaG4558, in the land ofSidonΣιδωνίαςSidōniasG4606,to a womanγυναῖκαgunaikaG1135who was a widowχήραν.chēranG5503.

27And there were manyπολλοὶpolloiG4183withG3015leprosyG3015in IsraelἸσραὴλIsraēlG2474in the timeἐπὶepiG1909of ElishaἘλισαίουElisaiouG1666the prophetπροφήτου·prophētouG4396;and noneοὐδεὶςoudeisG3762of them wascleansedἐκαθαρίσθηekatharisthēG2511, but onlyNaamanG3483the SyrianΣύρος.¶SurosG4948.”
