52He has broughtG2507downκαθεῖλενkatheilenG2507rulersδυνάσταςdunastasG1413from theirthronesθρόνωνthronōnG2362, And hasexaltedὕψωσενhupsōsenG5312those who were humbleταπεινούς·tapeinousG5011.

53He has filledἐνέπλησενeneplēsenG1705the hungryπεινῶνταςpeinōntasG3983with goodἀγαθῶνagathōnG18thingsG18,And sentG1821the richπλουτοῦνταςploutountasG4147awayἐξαπέστειλενexapesteilenG1821empty-handedκενούς·kenousG2756.

54He has givenG482helpἀντελάβετοantelabetoG482to His servantπαιδὸςpaidosG3816IsraelἸσραὴλIsraēlG2474,In remembranceμνησθῆναιmnēsthēnaiG3403of His mercyἐλέους,eleousG1656,

55JustκαθὼςkathōsG2531as He spokeἐλάλησενelalēsenG2980to our fathersπατέραςpaterasG3962,To AbrahamἈβραὰμAbraamG11and hisdescendantsσπέρματιspermatiG4690foreverαἰῶνα.¶aiōnaG165.”

56MaryΜαριὰμMariamG3137stayedἜμεινενEmeinenG3306with her aboutὡςhōsG5613threeτρεῖςtreisG5140monthsμῆναςmēnasG3376, and thenreturnedὑπέστρεψενhupestrepsenG5290to her homeοἶκονoikonG3624.

57NowδὲdeG1161the timeχρόνοςchronosG5550had comeG4092for ElizabethἘλισάβετElisabetG1665to giveG5088birthτεκεῖνtekeinG5088,and she gaveἐγέννησενegennēsenG1080birthG5088to a sonυἱόν.huionG5207.

58Her neighborsπερίοικοιperioikoiG4040and her relativesσυγγενεῖςsungeneisG4773heardἤκουσανēkousanG191that the LordκύριοςkuriosG2962haddisplayedG3170His greatG3170mercyἔλεοςeleosG1656towardμετ᾽met᾽G3326her; and they were rejoicingG4796withG4796her.

59And it happenedἐγένετοegenetoG1096that onthe eighthὀγδόῃogdoēG3590dayἡμέρᾳhēmeraG2250they cameἦλθονēlthonG2064to circumciseπεριτεμεῖνperitemeinG4059the childπαιδίονpaidionG3813,and they were going to callἐκάλουνekalounG2564him ZechariahΖαχαρίαν.ZacharianG2197,afterἐπὶepiG1909his fatherπατρὸςpatrosG3962.

60And yethis motherμήτηρmētērG3384respondedἀποκριθεῖσαapokritheisaG611and saidG3004, “Noοὐχί,ouchiG3780indeedG3780; buthe shall be calledκληθήσεταιklēthēsetaiG2564JohnἸωάννης.IōannēsG2491.”

61And they saidG3004to her, “There is noG3762oneοὐδείςoudeisG3762amongἐκekG1537your relativesσυγγενείαςsungeneiasG4772whoὃςhosG3739is calledκαλεῖταιkaleitaiG2564by this nameὀνόματιonomatiG3686.”

62And theymadeG1770signsG1770to his fatherπατρὶpatriG3962,as to whatτί ἂνti anG5101 G302he wantedθέλοιtheloiG2309him calledκαλεῖσθαιkaleisthaiG2564.

63And he askedαἰτήσαςaitēsasG154for a tabletπινακίδιονpinakidionG4093and wroteἔγραψενegrapsenG1125as followsλέγων·legōnG3004, “His nameὄνομαonomaG3686is JohnἸωάννηςIōannēsG2491.”And they wereG2296allπάντες.¶pantesG3956amazedG2296.
