21but howπῶςpōsG4459he nowνῦνnunG3568seesβλέπειblepeiG991,we do not knowG3609;orἢēG2228whoτίςtisG5101openedἤνοιξενēnoixenG455his eyesὀφθαλμοὺςophthalmousG3788,we do not knowG3609.Askἐρωτήσατε,erōtēsateG2065him; he is of ageἡλικίανhēlikianG2244,he will speakλαλήσει.¶lalēseiG2980for himselfἑαυτοῦhe'autouG1438.”

23It wasfor thisτοῦτοtoutoG3778reasonδιὰdiaG1223thathis parentsγονεῖςgoneisG1118saidG3004, “He is of ageἡλικίανhēlikianG2244;askG2065him.”

24SoοὖνounG3767for a secondδευτέρου,deuterouG1208timeG1208they summonedἘφώνησανEphōnēsanG5455the manἄνθρωπονanthrōponG444whoὃςhosG3739had beenG1510blindτυφλὸςtuphlosG5185,and saidG3004to him, “GiveδὸςdosG1325gloryδόξανdoxanG1391to Godθεῷ·theōG2316;we knowG3609thatthisοὗτοςhoutosG3778ManἄνθρωποςanthrōposG444is a sinnerἁμαρτωλόςhamartōlosG268.”

25He thenοὖνounG3767answeredἈπεκρίθηApekrithēG611, “WhetherεἰeiG1487He is a sinnerἁμαρτωλόςhamartōlosG268,I do not knowG3609;oneἓνhenG1520thingG1520I do knowG3609,that though I was blindτυφλὸςtuphlosG5185,nowἄρτιartiG737I seeβλέπω.blepōG991.”

26SoοὖνounG3767they saidG3004to him, “WhatτίtiG5101did He doἐποίησένepoiēsenG4160to you? HowπῶςpōsG4459did He openἤνοιξένēnoixenG455your eyesὀφθαλμούς;¶ophthalmousG3788?”

27He answeredἈπεκρίθηApekrithēG611them, “I toldG3004you alreadyἤδη,ēdēG2235and you did notlistenἠκούσατε.ēkousateG191;whyτίtiG5101do you wantθέλετεtheleteG2309to hearἀκούειν;akoueinG191itagainπάλινpalinG3825?You do not wantθέλετεtheleteG2309to becomeγενέσθαι;genesthaiG1096His disciplesμαθηταὶmathētaiG3101tooG2532, do you?”
