2“ThisH3541isH3541whatH3541the Lordיְהוָ֤הYah.wehH3068of armiesצְבָאוֹת֙tze.va.'OtH6635,the Godאֱלֹהֵ֣י'e.lo.HeiH430of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478saysאָמַ֞ר'a.MarH559: ‘You yourselvesH864have seenרְאִיתֶ֗םre.'i.TemH7200allכָּל־kol-H3605the disasterH7463that I have broughtהֵבֵ֙אתִי֙he.Ve.tiH935on Jerusalemיְר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔םye.Ru.sha.LimH3389and allכָּל־kol-H3605the citiesעָרֵ֣י'a.ReiH5892of Judahיְהוּדָ֑הye.hu.DahH3063;and beholdH2009,thisהַזֶּ֔הha.ZehH2088dayהַיּ֣וֹםhai.YomH3117they are inruinsחָרְבָּה֙cha.re.BahH2723and noH369oneH369livesיוֹשֵֽׁב׃yo.ShevH3427in them,

3becauseמִפְּנֵ֣יmi.pe.NeiH4480 H6440of their wickednessH7463whichאֲשֶׁ֤ר'a.SherH834they committedעָשׂוּ֙'a.SuH6213toprovokeלְהַכְעִסֵ֔נִיle.hakh.'i.Se.niH3707Me toH3707angerH3707by continuingלָלֶ֣כֶתla.Le.khetH1980toburnH6999sacrificesH6999and toserveלַעֲבֹ֖דla.'a.VodH5647otherאֲחֵרִ֑ים'a.che.RimH312godsלֵאלֹהִ֣יםle.lo.HimH430whomאֲשֶׁר֙'a.SherH834they had not knownיְדָע֔וּםye.da.'UmH3045, neitherthey, you, norלֹ֣אlo'H3808your fathersוַאֲבֹתֵיכֶֽם׃va.'a.vo.tei.KhemH1.

4Yet Isentוָאֶשְׁלַ֤חva.'esh.LachH7971you allכָּל־kol-H3605My servantsעֲבָדַ֣י'a.va.DaiH5650the prophetsהַנְּבִיאִ֔יםha.ne.vi.'ImH5030againהַשְׁכֵּ֥יםhash.KeimH7925and againוְשָׁלֹ֖חַve.sha.Lo.achH7971,sayingלֵאמֹ֑רle.MorH559, “Ohנָ֣אna'H4994,do not doתַעֲשׂ֗וּta.'a.SuH6213thisH2088abominableהַתֹּעֵבָ֥הha.to.'e.VahH8441thingדְּבַֽר־de.var-H1697whichאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834I hateשָׂנֵֽאתִי׃sa.Ne.tiH8130.”

5Butthey did not listenשָֽׁמְעוּ֙sha.me.'UH8085or inclineהִטּ֣וּhi.TuH5186their earsאָזְנָ֔ם'a.ze.NamH241to turnלָשׁ֖וּבla.ShuvH7725from their wickednessH7463,so as not to burnH6999sacrificesH6999to otherאֲחֵרִֽים׃'a.che.RimH312godsלֵאלֹהִ֥יםle.lo.HimH430.

6Therefore Mywrathחֲמָתִי֙cha.ma.TiH2534and My angerוְאַפִּ֔יve.'a.PiH639gushedH5413outH5413and burnedוַתִּבְעַר֙va.tiv.'ArH1197in thecitiesבְּעָרֵ֣יbe.'a.ReiH5892of Judahיְהוּדָ֔הye.hu.DahH3063and in the streetsוּבְחֻצ֖וֹתu.ve.chu.TzotH2351of Jerusalemיְרֽוּשָׁלִָ֑םye.ru.sha.LimH3389,so they have becomeוַתִּהְיֶ֛ינָהva.tih.Yei.nahH1961ruinsלְחָרְבָּ֥הle.cha.re.BahH2723and adesolationלִשְׁמָמָ֖הlish.ma.MahH8077as it isthisהַזֶּֽה׃ סha.ZehH2088dayכַּיּ֥וֹםkai.YomH3117.

10Yet theyhave not becomeH1792contriteדֻכְּא֔וּdu.ke.'UH1792evento thisהַזֶּ֑הha.ZehH2088dayהַיּ֣וֹםhai.YomH3117,norH3808have they fearedיָרְא֗וּya.re.'UH3372,norH3808walkedהָלְכ֤וּha.le.KhuH1980in My Lawבְתֽוֹרָתִי֙ve.to.ra.TiH8451or My statutesוּבְחֻקֹּתַ֔יu.ve.chu.ko.TaiH2708,whichאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834I placedנָתַ֥תִּיna.Ta.tiH5414beforeלִפְנֵיכֶ֖םlif.nei.KhemH6440you and beforeוְלִפְנֵ֥יve.lif.NeiH6440your fathersאֲבוֹתֵיכֶֽם׃ ס'a.vo.tei.KhemH1.”’

11“Thereforeלָכֵ֗ןla.KhenH3651thisH3541isH3541whatH3541the Lordיְהוָ֤הYah.wehH3068of armiesצְבָאוֹת֙tze.va.'OtH6635,the Godאֱלֹהֵ֣י'e.lo.HeiH430of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478saysאָמַ֞ר'a.MarH559: ‘BeholdH2009, I am going tosetשָׂ֥םsamH7760My faceפָּנַ֛יpa.NaiH6440against you for a disasterH7463,even to eliminateוּלְהַכְרִ֖יתu.le.hakh.RitH3772allכָּל־kol-H3605Judahיְהוּדָֽה׃ye.hu.DahH3063.

12And I willtakeוְלָקַחְתִּ֞יve.la.kach.TiH3947away the remnantשְׁאֵרִ֣יתshe.'e.RitH7611of Judahיְהוּדָ֗הye.hu.DahH3063whoאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834have setשָׂ֨מוּSa.muH7760theirmindsפְנֵיהֶ֜םfe.nei.HemH6440on enteringלָב֣וֹאla.Vo'H935the landאֶֽרֶץ־'e.retz-H776of Egyptמִצְרַיִם֮mitz.ra.YimH4714to resideלָג֣וּרla.GurH1481thereשָׁם֒shamH8033,and they will allכֹ֜לkholH3605meetוְתַ֨מּוּve.Ta.muH8552their endיִתַּ֔מּוּyi.Ta.muH8552in the landבְּאֶ֧רֶץbe.'E.retzH776of Egyptמִצְרַ֣יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714;they will fallיִפֹּ֗לוּyi.Po.luH5307by the swordבַּחֶ֤רֶבba.Che.revH2719ormeetH8552their endH8552by famineבָּֽרָעָב֙ba.ra.'AvH7458.From the smallמִקָּטֹן֙mi.ka.TonH6996to the greatגָּד֔וֹלga.DolH1419,they will dieיָמֻ֑תוּya.Mu.tuH4191by the swordבַּחֶ֥רֶבba.Che.revH2719and famineוּבָרָעָ֖בu.va.ra.'AvH7458;and they will becomeוְהָיוּ֙ve.ha.YuH1961acurseוְלִקְלָלָ֖הve.lik.la.LahH7045,an objectH8047ofH8047horrorלְשַׁמָּ֔הle.sha.MahH8047,an imprecationH7045,and a disgraceוּלְחֶרְפָּֽה׃u.le.cher.PahH2781.

13And I willpunishוּפָקַדְתִּ֗יu.fa.kad.TiH6485those who liveהַיּֽוֹשְׁבִים֙hai.yo.she.VimH3427in the landבְּאֶ֣רֶץbe.'E.retzH776of Egyptמִצְרַ֔יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714,justH3512asH3512I have punishedפָּקַ֖דְתִּיpa.Kad.tiH6485Jerusalemיְרֽוּשָׁלִָ֑םye.ru.sha.LimH3389,with the swordבַּחֶ֥רֶבba.Che.revH2719,with famineבָּרָעָ֖בba.ra.'AvH7458,and with plagueוּבַדָּֽבֶר׃u.va.Da.verH1698.

14So there will benoוְלֹ֨אve.Lo'H3808survivorפָּלִ֤יטpa.LitH6412or refugeeוְשָׂרִיד֙ve.sa.RidH8300for the remnantלִשְׁאֵרִ֣יתlish.'e.RitH7611of Judahיְהוּדָ֔הye.hu.DahH3063who have enteredהַבָּאִ֥יםha.ba.'ImH935the landבְּאֶ֣רֶץbe.'E.retzH776of Egyptמִצְרָ֑יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714to resideלָגֽוּר־la.gur-H1481thereH8033and thento returnוְלָשׁ֣וּב׀ve.la.ShuvH7725to the landאֶ֣רֶץ'E.retzH776of Judahיְהוּדָ֗הye.hu.DahH3063,to whichאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834they arelongingמְנַשְּׂאִ֤ים נַפְשָׁם֙me.na.se.'Im naf.ShamH5375 H5315to returnלָשׁוּב֙la.ShuvH7725to liveלָשֶׁ֣בֶתla.She.vetH3427;for noneלֹֽא־lo'-H3808willreturnיָשׁ֖וּבוּya.Shu.vuH7725exceptאִם־'im-H3588 H518a fewrefugeesפְּלֵטִֽים׃ סpe.le.TimH6412.’”
