26and I pronouncedH2930themuncleanוָאֲטַמֵּ֤אva.'a.ta.Me'H2930because of their giftsבְּמַתְּנוֹתָ֔םbe.ma.te.no.TamH4979, in that theymade allכָּל־kol-H3605their firstbornH1060 H7358passבְּהַעֲבִ֖ירbe.ha.'a.VirH5674throughH5674the firesoH4616thatH4616I might makeאֲשִׁמֵּ֔ם'a.shi.MemH8074them desolateH8074,inH4616orderH4616thatH4616they mightknowיֵֽדְע֔וּye.de.'UH3045that I am the Lordיְהוָֽה׃ סYah.wehH3068.”’

27“Thereforeלָכֵ֞ןla.KhenH3651speakדַּבֵּ֨רda.BerH1696to the houseבֵּ֤יתbeitH1004of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵל֙Yis.ra.'ElH3478,sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of manאָדָ֔ם'a.DamH120,and sayוְאָמַרְתָּ֣ve.'a.mar.TaH559to them, ‘ThisH3541isH3541whatH3541the Lordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136 GodH3068saysאָמַ֖ר'a.MarH559: “Againע֗וֹדodH5750,in thisH2088your fathersאֲב֣וֹתֵיכֶ֔ם'a.Vo.tei.KhemH1haveblasphemedגִּדְּפ֤וּgi.de.FuH1442Me bybeingH4603disloyalH4603to Me.

28When I hadbroughtוָאֲבִיאֵם֙va.'a.vi.'EmH935them into the landהָאָ֔רֶץha.'A.retzH776whichאֲשֶׁ֤ר'a.SherH834I sworeנָשָׂ֙אתִי֙ יָדִ֔יna.Sa.ti ya.DiH5375 H3027to giveלָתֵ֥תla.TetH5414to them, then they sawוַיִּרְאוּ֩vai.yir.'UH7200everyכָל־khol-H3605highרָמָ֜הra.MahH7311hillגִּבְעָ֨הgiv.'AhH1389and everyוְכָל־ve.kholH3605treeעֵ֣ץ'etzH6086thickH5687with branchesH5687,and thereשָׁ֤םshamH8033they offeredוַיִּזְבְּחוּ־vai.yiz.be.chu-H2076their sacrificesזִבְחֵיהֶם֙ziv.chei.HemH2077and thereשָׁם֙shamH8033they presentedוַיִּתְּנוּ־vai.yi.te.nu-H5414the provocationכַּ֣עַסKa.'asH3708of their offeringקָרְבָּנָ֔םka.re.ba.NamH7133.Thereשָׁ֗םShamH8033also they madeוַיָּשִׂ֣ימוּvai.ya.Si.muH7760their soothingנִיח֣וֹחֵיהֶ֔םni.Cho.chei.HemH5207aromaרֵ֚יחַRei.achH7381and thereשָׁ֖םshamH8033they pouredוַיַּסִּ֥יכוּvai.ya.Si.khuH5258outH5258their drinkנִסְכֵּיהֶֽם׃nis.kei.HemH5262offeringsH5262.

29Then I saidוָאֹמַ֣רva.'o.MarH559to them, ‘Whatמָ֣הmahH4100is the highהַבָּמָ֔הha.ba.MahH1116placeH1116to whichאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834you goהַבָּאִ֖יםha.ba.'ImH935?’So its nameשְׁמָהּ֙she.MahH8034is calledוַיִּקָּרֵ֤אvai.yi.ka.Re'H7121Bamahבָּמָ֔הba.MahH1117to thisהַזֶּֽה׃ha.ZehH2088dayהַיּ֥וֹםhai.YomH3117.”’

30Thereforeלָכֵ֞ןla.KhenH3651,sayאֱמֹ֣ר׀'e.MorH559to the houseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֗לYis.ra.'ElH3478, ‘ThisH3541isH3541whatH3541the Lordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136 GodH3068saysאָמַר֙'a.MarH559: “Will you defileנִטְמְאִ֑יםnit.me.'ImH2930yourselves in the wayהַבְּדֶ֥רֶךְha.be.De.rekhH1870of yourfathersאֲבֽוֹתֵיכֶ֖ם'a.vo.tei.KhemH1and adulterouslyH2181pursueוְאַחֲרֵ֥יve.'a.cha.ReiH2181 H310their detestableשִׁקּוּצֵיהֶ֖םshi.ku.tzei.HemH8251thingsH8251?

31Andwhen you offerוּבִשְׂאֵ֣תu.vis.'EtH5375your giftsמַתְּנֹֽתֵיכֶ֡םma.te.no.tei.KhemH4979, when youmake your sonsבְּנֵיכֶ֨םbe.nei.KhemH1121passבְּֽהַעֲבִיר֩be.ha.'a.VirH5674through the fireבָּאֵ֜שׁba.'EshH784,you are defilingנִטְמְאִ֤֨יםnit.me.'ImH2930yourselves with allלְכָל־le.kholH3605your idolsגִּלּֽוּלֵיכֶם֙gi.lu.lei.KhemH1544to this dayהַיּ֔וֹםhai.YomH3117.So shall I be inquiredאִדָּרֵ֥שׁ'i.da.ReshH1875of by you, houseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478?As I liveחַי־chai-H2416,”declaresנְאֻם֙ne.'UmH5002the Lordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136 GodH3068, “I certainlyאִם־'im-H518will not be inquiredאִדָּרֵ֖שׁ'i.da.ReshH1875of by you.
