John 19:36-42

36For theseG3778 thingsG3778 cameG1096 to passG1096 1to fulfillG4137 the ScriptureG1124, “2Not a boneG3747 of Him shall be 3brokenG4937.” 37And againG3825 anotherG2087 ScriptureG1124 saysG3004, “4They shall lookG3708 on Him whomG3739 they piercedG1574.”

385AfterG3326 theseG3778 thingsG3778 JosephG2501 of ArimatheaG707, beingG1510 a discipleG3101 of JesusG2424, but a 6secretG2928 one for 7fearG5401 of the JewsG2453, askedG2065 PilateG4091 that he might takeG142 awayG142 the bodyG4983 of JesusG2424; and PilateG4091 grantedG2010 permissionG2010. SoG3767 he cameG2064 and tookG142 awayG142 His bodyG4983. 398NicodemusG3530, who had firstG4413 comeG2064 to Him by nightG3571, alsoG2532 cameG2064, 9bringingG5342 a 10mixtureG3395 of 11myrrhG4666 and aloesG250, aboutG5613 a 12hundredG1540 13poundsG3046 weight. 40SoG3767 they tookG2983 the bodyG4983 of JesusG2424 and 14boundG1210 it in 15linenG3608 wrappingsG3608 with the spicesG759, as is the burialG1779 customG1485 of the JewsG2453. 41NowG1161 in the placeG5117 whereG3699 He was crucifiedG4717 there was a gardenG2779, and in the gardenG2779 a 16newG2537 tombG3419 17in whichG3739 noG3762 oneG3762 had yetG3764 beenG1510 laidG5087. 42ThereforeG3767 becauseG1223 of the JewishG2453 dayG3904 of 18preparationG3904, sinceG3754 the tombG3419 was 19nearbyG1451, they laidG5087 JesusG2424 thereG1563.
