37I knowG3609that you areAbraham’sἈβραάμAbraamG11descendantsσπέρμαspermaG4690;yetἀλλὰallaG235you seekζητεῖτέzēteiteG2212to killἀποκτεῖναι,apokteinaiG615Me, becauseG3754My wordλόγοςlogosG3056hasG5562noοὐouG3756placeG5562in you.

38I speakλαλῶ·lalōG2980the things whichἃhaG3739I have seenἑώρακαhe'ōrakaG3708with MyFatherπατρὶpatriG3962;thereforeοὖνounG3767you alsoκαὶkaiG2532doποιεῖτε.¶poieiteG4160the things whichἃhaG3739you heardἠκούσατεēkousateG191from yourfatherπατρὸςpatrosG3962.”

47He who is of GodθεοῦtheouG2316hearsἀκούει·akoueiG191the wordsῥήματαrhēmataG4487of GodθεοῦtheouG2316;for thisτοῦτοtoutoG3778reasonδιὰdiaG1223you do not hearἀκούετε,akoueteG191them,becauseὅτιhotiG3754you are not of GodθεοῦtheouG2316.”

48The JewsἸουδαῖοιIoudaioiG2453answeredἈπεκρίθησανApekrithēsanG611and saidλέγομενlegomenG3004to Him, “Do we not sayG3004rightlyκαλῶςkalōsG2573that You are aSamaritanΣαμαρίτηςSamaritēsG4541andhaveἔχεις;¶echeisG2192a demonδαιμόνιονdaimonionG1140?”

50ButI do not seekζητῶzētōG2212My gloryδόξανdoxanG1391;there is One who seeksζητῶνzētōnG2212and judgesκρίνων.¶krinōnG2919.
