Mark 15:1-20
And immediately in the morningG4404 the chiefG749 priestsG749, having taken counsel with the eldersG4245 and scribesG1122 and the wholeG3650 sanhedrim, boundG1210 JesusG2424 and carried [him] awayG667, and deliveredG3860 [him] up to PilateG4091.
And PilateG4091 askedG1905 him, Art thou the KingG935 of the JewsG2453? And he answeredG611 and saidG3004 to him, Thou sayest.
And the chiefG749 priestsG749 accusedG2723 him urgently.
And PilateG4091 askedG1905 him againG3825, sayingG3004, Answerest thou nothing? SeeG3708 of howG4214 manyG4214 things they bear witness against thee.
But JesusG2424 still answeredG611 nothing, so that PilateG4091 marvelled.
But at [the] feastG1859 he releasedG630 to them oneG1520 prisonerG1198, whomsoever they begged [of him].
NowG1161 there wasG1510 the [person] named BarabbasG912 boundG1210 with those who had madeG4160 insurrectionG4714 with [him], [and] that had committed murderG5408 in the insurrectionG4714.
And the crowdG3793 crying out beganG757 to beg [that he would do] to them as he had always done.
But PilateG4091 answeredG611 them sayingG3004, WillG2309 ye that I releaseG630 to you the KingG935 of the JewsG2453?
for he knewG1097 that the chiefG749 priestsG749 had deliveredG3860 him up through envyG5355.
But the chiefG749 priestsG749 stirred up the crowdG3793 that he might ratherG3123 releaseG630 BarabbasG912 to them.
And PilateG4091 answeringG611 saidG3004 to them againG3825, What will ye thenG3767 that I do [to him] whom ye call KingG935 of the JewsG2453?
And they criedG2896 out againG3825, CrucifyG4717 him.
And PilateG4091 saidG3004 to them, What evilG2556 thenG1161 has he done? But they criedG2896 out the more urgently, CrucifyG4717 him.
And PilateG4091, desirous of contenting the crowdG3793, releasedG630 to them BarabbasG912, and deliveredG3860 up JesusG2424, when he had scourged him, that he might be crucifiedG4717.
And the soldiersG4757 ledG520 him awayG520 into the courtG833 which isG1510 [calledG4779 the] praetoriumG4232, and they call togetherG4779 the wholeG3650 band.
And they clothe him with purpleG4209, and bind round on him a crownG4735 of thorns which they had plaited.
And they beganG757 to salute him, HailG5463, KingG935 of the JewsG2453!
And they struckG5180 his headG2776 with a reedG2563, and spat on him, and, bending the kneeG1119, did him homage.
And whenG3753 they had mockedG1702 him, they took the purpleG4209 off him, and putG1746 his ownG2398 clothesG2440 on him; and they lead him out that they may crucifyG4717 him.
