Darby Bible
Luke 7:3-9
3and having heardG191 of JesusG2424, he sentG649 to him eldersG4245 of the JewsG2453, beggingG2065 him that he might comeG2064 and saveG1295 his bondman.
4But they, beingG1510 come to JesusG2424, besought him diligently, sayingG3004, He isG1510 worthyG514 to whom thou shouldest grant this,
5for he lovesG25 our nationG1484, and himself has builtG3618 the synagogueG4864 for us.
6And JesusG2424 wentG4198 with them. But alreadyG2235, when he wasG1510 not farG3112 from the houseG3614, the centurionG1543 sentG3992 to him friendsG5384, sayingG3004 to him, LordG2962, do not troubleG4660 thyself, for I amG1510 not worthyG2425 that thou shouldest enterG1525 under my roofG4721.
7Wherefore neither did I countG515 myself worthyG515 to comeG2064 to thee. But sayG3004 by a wordG3056 and my servantG3816 shall be healedG2390.
8For I alsoG2532 amG1510 a manG444 placed under authorityG1849, having under myself soldiersG4757, and I sayG3004 to this [oneG3778], GoG4198, and he goesG4198; and to another, ComeG2064, and he comesG2064; and to my bondman, Do this, and he does [it].
9And JesusG2424 hearingG191 this wonderedG2296 at him, and turningG4762 to the crowdG3793 followingG190 him saidG3004, I sayG3004 to you, Not evenG2532 in IsraelG2474 have I foundG2147 so greatG5118 faithG4102.
