Joshua 2:2-7
And it was told the kingH4428 of JerichoH3405, sayingH559, Behold, menH376 have comeH935 hither to-night from the children of IsraelH3478 to search out the landH776.
And the kingH4428 of JerichoH3405 sentH7971 to RahabH7343, sayingH559, BringH935 forthH3318 the menH376 that have comeH935 to thee, who have comeH935 into thy houseH1004: for they have comeH935 to search out all the landH776.
And the womanH802 had takenH3947 and concealed the twoH8147 menH376; and she saidH559, Yes, the menH376 did comeH935 unto me, but I knewH3045 not whence they were;
and it came to pass when the gateH8179 had to beH1961 closed, at dark, that the menH376 wentH1980 out: I knowH3045 not whither the menH376 have goneH1980. PursueH7291 after them quicklyH4118; for ye shall overtakeH5381 them.
But she had taken them up to the roofH1406, and secreted them under the stalks of flaxH6593, which she had laid out on the roofH1406.
And the menH376 pursuedH7291 after them the wayH1870 to the JordanH3383, to the fords; and whenH834 they who pursuedH7291 after them had goneH3318 out, they closed the gateH8179.
