Darby Bible
Hebrews 2:1-7
1For this reason we should give heed moreG4056 abundantly to the thingsG3778 [we have] heardG191, lest in any way we should slip away.
2For if the wordG3056 which was spokenG2980 by angelsG32 was firm, and every transgressionG3847 and disobedienceG3876 receivedG2983 just retribution,
3howG4459 shall we escapeG1628 if we have been negligent of so greatG5082 salvationG4991, which, having had its commencement in being spokenG2980 [of] by the LordG2962, has been confirmedG950 to us by those who have heardG191;
41GodG2316 bearing, besides, witness with [them] to [it], both by signsG4592 and wondersG5059, and variousG4164 acts of powerG1411, and distributions of [the] HolyG40 SpiritG4151, accordingG2596 to his will?
5For he has not subjectedG5293 to angelsG32 the habitable worldG3625 which is to comeG3195, of which we speakG2980;
6but oneG5100 has testifiedG1263 somewhereG4225, sayingG3004, What isG1510 manG444, that thou rememberest him, or sonG5207 of manG444 that thou visitest him?
7Thou hast made him some littleG1024 inferior to the angelsG32; thou hast crownedG4737 him with gloryG1391 and honour, [and hast set him over the works of thy hands;]
