Samuel 23:9-28
And after him, EleazarH499 the sonH1121 of DodoH1734 the sonH1121 of an AhohiteH266: he was oneH376 of the threeH7969 mightyH1368 menH376 with DavidH1732, when they had defied the PhilistinesH6430 that were there gatheredH622 together to battleH4421, and the menH376 of IsraelH3478 were goneH5927 up.
He aroseH6965 and smote the PhilistinesH6430 until his handH3027 was wearyH3021, and his handH3027 clave to the swordH2719; and Jehovah wrought a greatH1419 deliveranceH8668 that dayH3117; and the peopleH5971 returnedH7725 after him onlyH389 to spoil.
And after him, Shammah the sonH1121 of Agee the HarariteH2043: the PhilistinesH6430 wereH1961 gatheredH622 into a troop, and there wasH1961 there a plot of ground fullH4395 of lentilsH5742, and the peopleH5971 had fledH5127 before the PhilistinesH6430;
and he stoodH3320 in the midstH8432 of the plot and deliveredH5337 it, and smote the PhilistinesH6430, and Jehovah wrought a greatH1419 deliveranceH8668.
And three of the thirtyH7970 chiefsH7218 wentH935 downH3381, and cameH935 to DavidH1732 in the harvestH7105 time to the caveH4631 of AdullamH5725, when the troop of the PhilistinesH6430 was encampedH2583 in the valleyH6010 of RephaimH7497.
And DavidH1732 was thenH227 in the stronghold; and the Philistines' garrisonH4673 was thenH227 at Bethlehem.
And DavidH1732 longed, and saidH559, Oh that oneH834 would giveH8248 me to drinkH8248 of the waterH4325 of the wellH877 of Bethlehem, which is in the gateH8179!
And the threeH7969 mightyH1368 menH1368 brokeH1234 through the campH4264 of the PhilistinesH6430, and drewH7579 waterH4325 out of the wellH877 of Bethlehem, which is in the gateH8179, and tookH5375 it, and broughtH935 it to DavidH1732; however he wouldH14 not drinkH8354 of it, but poured it out to Jehovah.
And he saidH559, Be it farH2486 from me, Jehovah, that I should do this thing! is it not the bloodH1818 of the menH376 that wentH1980 at the risk of their livesH5315? Therefore he wouldH14 not drinkH8354 it. These thingsH428 did the threeH7969 mightyH1368 menH376.
And AbishaiH52, the brotherH251 of JoabH3097, the sonH1121 of ZeruiahH6870, was the chiefH7218 of threeH7969; and he brandished his spearH2595 against threeH7969 hundredH3967 and slew them; and he had a nameH8034 among the threeH7969.
WasH1961 he not most honourable of threeH7969? and he wasH1961 their captain; but he did not attain to the [first] threeH7969.
And BenaiahH1141 the sonH1121 of JehoiadaH3077, sonH1121 of a valiant manH376, greatH7227 in exploits, of KabzeelH6909: he it was that smote twoH8147 lionsH738 of MoabH4124; and he wentH3381 downH3381 and smote a lionH738 in the midstH8432 of a pitH953 on a snowy dayH3117.
He also smote the EgyptianH4713, an imposing manH376: and the EgyptianH4713 had a spearH2595 in his handH3027; and he wentH3381 downH3381 to him with a staffH7626, and plucked the spearH2595 out of the Egyptian's handH3027, and slewH2026 him with his own spearH2595.
These thingsH428 did BenaiahH1141 the sonH1121 of JehoiadaH3077, and he had a nameH8034 among the threeH7969 mightyH1368 menH1368.
He was honoured above the thirtyH7970, but he did not attain to the [first] threeH7969. And DavidH1732 setH7760 him in his council.
AsahelH6214 the brotherH251 of JoabH3097 was one of the thirtyH7970; ElhananH445 the sonH1121 of DodoH1734 of Bethlehem,
ShammahH8048 the HaroditeH2733, Elika the HaroditeH2733,
HelezH2503 the Paltite, IraH5896 the sonH1121 of IkkeshH6142 the TekoiteH8621,
AbiezerH44 the AnathothiteH6069, Mebunnai the HushathiteH2843,
ZalmonH6756 the AhohiteH266, MaharaiH4121 the NetophathiteH5200,
