2 Samuel 23:9-28

9and afterH310 him was EleazarH499 the sonH1121 of 1DodoH1734 the 2AhohiteH266, one of the threeH7969 mightyH1368 menH1368 with DavidH1732 when they 3defiedH2778 the PhilistinesH6430 who were gatheredH622 thereH8033 to battleH4421 and the menH376 of IsraelH3478 had 4withdrawnH5927. 105He aroseH6965 and struckH5221 the PhilistinesH6430 untilH5704H3588 his handH3027 was wearyH3021 and 6clungH1692 to the swordH2719, and 7the LordH3068 broughtH6213 aboutH6213 a greatH1419 8victoryH8668 that dayH3117; and the peopleH5971 returnedH7725 afterH310 him onlyH389 to stripH6584 the slain.

11Now afterH310 him was ShammahH8048 the sonH1121 of AgeeH89 a 9HarariteH2043. And the PhilistinesH6430 were gatheredH622 10into a troopH2422 whereH8033 thereH8033 was a plotH2513 of groundH7704 fullH4392 of lentilsH5742, and the peopleH5971 fledH5127 from the PhilistinesH6430. 12But he tookH3320 his standH3320 in the midstH8432 of the plotH2513, defendedH5337 it and struckH5221 the PhilistinesH6430; and 11the LordH3068 broughtH6213 aboutH6213 a greatH1419 12victoryH8668.

13Then threeH7969 of the thirtyH7970 chiefH7218 menH7218 wentH3381 downH3381 and cameH935 to DavidH1732 in the harvestH7105 timeH7105 to the 13caveH4631 of AdullamH5725, while the troopH2422 of the PhilistinesH6430 was campingH2583 in 14the valleyH6010 of RephaimH7497. 14DavidH1732 was thenH227 15in the strongholdH4686, while the garrisonH4673 of the PhilistinesH6430 was thenH227 in BethlehemH1035. 1516DavidH1732 hadH183 a cravingH183 and saidH559, “OhH4310 that someoneH4310 would giveH8248 me waterH4325 to drinkH8248 from the wellH877 of BethlehemH1035 whichH834 is by the gateH8179!” 1617So the threeH7969 mightyH1368 menH1368 brokeH1234 throughH1234 the campH4264 of the PhilistinesH6430, and drewH7579 waterH4325 from the wellH877 of BethlehemH1035 whichH834 was by the gateH8179, and tookH5375 it and broughtH935 it to DavidH1732. Nevertheless he wouldH14 not drinkH8354 it, but 18pouredH5258 it out to the LordH3068; 17and he saidH559, “Be it farH2486 from me, O LordH3068, that I should doH6213 thisH2088. 19Shall I drink the bloodH1818 of the menH376 who wentH1980 in jeopardy of their livesH5315?” Therefore he wouldH14 not drinkH8354 it. TheseH428 thingsH428 the threeH7969 mightyH1368 menH1368 didH6213.

1820AbishaiH52, the brotherH251 of JoabH3097, the sonH1121 of ZeruiahH6870, was 21chiefH7218 of the 22thirtyH7992. And he swungH5782 his spearH2595 againstH5921 threeH7969 hundredH3967 23and killedH2491 them, and had a nameH8034 as well as the threeH7969. 19He was mostH4480 honoredH3513 of the thirtyH7969, therefore he becameH1961 their commanderH8269; however, he did not attainH935 to the threeH7969.

20Then 24BenaiahH1141 the sonH1121 of JehoiadaH3077, the sonH1121 of a valiantH2428 manH376 of 25KabzeelH6909, who had done mightyH7227 deedsH6467, 26killedH5221 the 27twoH8147 sons of ArielH739 of MoabH4124. He also wentH3381 downH3381 and killedH5221 a lionH743 in the middleH8432 of a pitH877 on a snowyH7950 dayH3117. 21He 28killedH5221 an EgyptianH4713, 29an impressiveH4758 manH376. Now the EgyptianH4713 had a spearH2595 in his handH3027, but he wentH3381 downH3381 to him with a clubH7626 and snatchedH1497 the spearH2595 from the Egyptian’sH4713 handH3027 and killedH2026 him with his own spearH2595. 22TheseH428 things 30BenaiahH1141 the sonH1121 of JehoiadaH3077 didH6213, and had a nameH8034 as well as the threeH7969 mightyH1368 menH1368. 23He was honoredH3513 amongH4480 the thirtyH7970, but he did not attainH935 to the threeH7969. And DavidH1732 appointedH7760 him overH413 his guardH4928.

2431AsahelH6214 the brotherH251 of JoabH3097 was among the thirtyH7970; ElhananH445 the sonH1121 of DodoH1734 of BethlehemH1035, 2532ShammahH8048 the 33HaroditeH2733, ElikaH470 the HaroditeH2733, 26HelezH2503 the PaltiteH6407, IraH5896 the sonH1121 of IkkeshH6142 the 34TekoiteH8621, 27AbiezerH44 the 35AnathothiteH6069, MebunnaiH4012 the HushathiteH2843, 28ZalmonH6756 the AhohiteH266, MaharaiH4121 the 36NetophathiteH5200,
