7BelovedG27, let us loveG26 oneG240 another; because loveG26 isG1510 of 1GodG2316, and every oneG240 that lovesG25 has beenG1510 begottenG1080 of 2GodG2316, and knowsG1097 3GodG2316.
8He that lovesG25 not has not knownG1097 4GodG2316; for 5GodG2316 isG1510 loveG26.
9Herein as to us has been manifestedG5319 the loveG26 of 6GodG2316, that 7GodG2316 has sentG649 his onlyG3439 begottenG3439 SonG5207 into the worldG2889, that we might liveG2198 through him.
10Herein isG1510 loveG26, not that we lovedG25 8GodG2316, but that he lovedG25 us, and sentG649 his SonG5207 a propitiationG2434 for our sinsG266.
11BelovedG27, if 9GodG2316 has so lovedG25 us, we alsoG2532 oughtG3784 to loveG25 oneG240 another.
12No oneG3762 has seenG2300 10GodG2316 at any timeG4455: if we loveG26 oneG3762 another, 11GodG2316 abidesG3306 in us, and his loveG26 isG1510 perfectedG5048 in us.
13Hereby we knowG1097 that we abideG3306 in him and he in us, that he has givenG1325 to us of his SpiritG4151.
14And we have seenG2300, and testifyG3140, that the FatherG3962 has sentG649 the SonG5207 [as] Saviour of the worldG2889.
15Whosoever shall confessG3670 that JesusG2424 isG1510 the SonG5207 of 12GodG2316, 13GodG2316 abidesG3306 in him, and he in 14GodG2316.
16And we have knownG1097 and have believedG4100 the loveG26 which 15GodG2316 has to us. 16GodG2316 isG1510 loveG26, and he that abidesG3306 in loveG26 abidesG3306 in 17GodG2316, and 18GodG2316 in him.
