Darby Bible
Corinthians 8:7-11
But knowledgeG1108 [isG1510] not in all: but some, with conscienceG4893 of the idolG1497, until nowG1161 eatG2068 as of a thing sacrificed to idolsG1497; and their conscienceG4893, beingG1510 weakG772, isG1510 defiled.
But meat does not commend us to 1GodG2316; neither if we should not eatG2068 do we come shortG5302; nor if we should eatG2068 have we an advantage.
But seeG991 lestG3361 anywise this your rightG1849 [to eat] itself be a stumbling-block to the weakG772.
For if any oneG5100 seeG3708 thee, who hast knowledgeG1108, sitting at table in an idol-house, shall not his conscienceG4893, he beingG1510 weakG772, beG1510 emboldened to eatG2068 the things sacrificed to the idol?
and the weakG770 [oneG3739], the brotherG80 for whose sakeG1223 ChristG5547 diedG599, will perishG622 through thy knowledgeG1108.
