Jeremiah 3:6-9
6Now in the daysH3117 of KingH4428 JosiahH2977, the LORDH3068 saidH559 to meH413, “Have you seenH7200 whatH834 faithlessH4878 IsraelH3478 has doneH6213? SheH1931 has gone upH1980 onH5921 everyH3605 highH1364H413 hillH2022 and underH8478 everyH3605 greenH7488 treeH6086 to prostitute herselfH2181 thereH8033. 7I thoughtH559 that afterH310 she had doneH6213 allH3605 these thingsH428, she would returnH7725 to MeH413. But she did notH3808 returnH7725, and her unfaithfulH901 sisterH269 JudahH3063 saw itH7200.
8She sawH72001 thatH3588 becauseH5921H3605H182 faithlessH4878 IsraelH3478 had committed adulteryH5003, I gaveH5414 herH853 a certificateH5612 of divorceH3748 and sent her awayH7971. YetH413 that unfaithfulH898 sisterH269 JudahH3063 had noH3808 fearH3372H1931 and prostituted herselfH2181 as wellH1571. 9Indifferent toH1961H6963 her own infidelityH2184, Israel had defiledH2610 the landH776 and committed adulteryH5003 with stonesH68 and treesH6086.
