Jeremiah 18:18-23
18Then some saidH559, “ComeH1980, let us make plansH2803H4284 againstH5921 JeremiahH3414, forH3588 the lawH8451 will neverH3808 be lostH6 to the priestH3548, nor counselH6098 to the wiseH2450, nor an oracleH1697 to the prophetH5030. ComeH1980, let us denounce himH5221H3956 and pay noH408 heedH7181 toH413 anyH3605 of his wordsH1697.”
19AttendH7181 to meH413, O LORDH3068.HearH8085 what my accusersH3401 are sayingH6963!20Should goodH2896 be repaidH7999 withH8478 evilH7451?YetH3588 they have dugH3738 a pitH7745 for meH5315.RememberH2142 how I stoodH5975 before YouH6440to speakH1696 goodH2896 on their behalfH5921,to turnH7725 Your wrathH2534 from them.
21ThereforeH3651, hand their childrenH1121 overH5414 to famineH7458;pour outH5064 the powerH3027 of the swordH2719 upon themH5921.Let their wivesH802 becomeH1961 childlessH7909 and widowedH490;let their husbandsH582H1961 be slainH2026 by diseaseH4194,their young menH970 struck downH5221 by the swordH2719 in battleH4421.22Let a cryH2201 be heardH8085 from their housesH1004whenH3588 You suddenlyH6597 bringH935 raidersH1416 against themH5921,forH3588 they have dugH3738 a pitH7882 to capture meH3920and have hiddenH2934 snaresH6341 for my feetH7272.
