Jeremiah 10:17-22
17Gather upH622 your belongingsH3666 from this landH776, you who liveH3427 under siegeH4692. 18ForH3588 this is whatH3541 the LORDH3068 saysH559:
“BeholdH2005, at thisH2063 timeH6471 I will sling outH7049the inhabitantsH3427 of the landH776and bring distressH6887 upon themso that theyH4616 may be capturedH4672.”
19WoeH188 to me because ofH5921 my brokennessH7667;my woundH4347 is grievousH2470!But IH589 saidH559H389, “ThisH2088 is truly my sicknessH2483,and I must bear itH5375.”20My tentH168 is destroyedH7703,and allH3605 its ropesH4340 are snappedH5423.My sonsH1121 have departed from meH3318and are no moreH369.I have no oneH369 leftH5750 to pitchH5186 my tentH168or set upH6965 my curtainsH3407.
21ForH3588 the shepherdsH7462 have become senselessH1197;they do notH3808 seekH1875 the LORDH3068.ThereforeH5921H3651 they have notH3808 prosperedH7919,and all theirH3605 flockH4830 is scatteredH6327.22ListenH2009! The soundH6963 of a reportH8052 is comingH935—a greatH1419 commotionH7494 from the landH776 to the northH6828.It will makeH7760 the citiesH5892 of JudahH3063 a desolationH8077,a hauntH4583 for jackalsH8577.1
