1And MosesH4872spakeוַיְדַבֵּ֤רvay.da.BerH1696unto the headsרָאשֵׁ֣יra.SheiH7218of the tribesהַמַּטּ֔וֹתha.ma.TotH4294concerning the childrenH1121of IsraelH3478,sayingH559, This isthe thingהַדָּבָ֔רha.da.VarH1697which YhwhH3068hath commandedH6680.

2If a manאִישׁ֩'ishH376vowיִדֹּ֨רyi.DorH5087a vowנֶ֜דֶרNe.derH5088unto YhwhH3068,or swearהִשָּׁ֤בַעhi.Sha.va'H7650an oathשְׁבֻעָה֙she.vu.'AhH7621to bindלֶאְסֹ֤רle'.SorH631his soulנַפְשׁ֔וֹnaf.ShoH5315with a bondאִסָּר֙'i.SarH632;he shall not breakיַחֵ֖לya.ChelH2490his wordH1697,he shall doיַעֲשֶֽׂה׃ya.'a.SehH6213according to all that proceedethהַיֹּצֵ֥אhai.yo.Tze'H3318out of his mouthמִפִּ֖יוmi.PivH6310.

3If a womanוְאִשָּׁ֕הve.'i.ShahH802also vowH5087a vowH5088unto YhwhH3068,and bindH631herself by a bondH632, beingin her father’sאָבִ֖יהָ'a.Vi.haH1houseבְּבֵ֥יתbe.VeitH1004in her youthבִּנְעֻרֶֽיהָ׃bin.'u.Rei.haH5271;

4And her fatherH1hearוְשָׁמַ֨עve.sha.Ma'H8085her vowH5088,and her bondH632wherewith she hath boundH631her soulנַפְשָׁ֔הּnaf.ShahH5315,and her fatherH1shall hold his peaceוְהֶחֱרִ֥ישׁve.he.che.RishH2790at her: then all her vowsH5088shall standוְקָ֙מוּ֙ve.Ka.muH6965,and every bondH632wherewith she hath boundH631her soulנַפְשָׁ֖הּnaf.ShahH5315shall standיָקֽוּם׃ya.KumH6965.

5But if her fatherH1disallowהֵנִ֨יאhe.Ni'H5106her in the dayבְּי֣וֹםbe.YomH3117that he hearethH8085;not any of her vowsH5088,or of her bondsH632wherewith she hath boundH631her soulH5315,shall standH6965:And Yhwhוַֽיהוָה֙va.Yah.wehH3068shall forgiveיִֽסְלַח־yis.lach-H5545her, because her fatherH1disallowedהֵנִ֥יאhe.Ni'H5106her.

6And if she had at all an husbandלְאִ֔ישׁle.'IshH376,when she vowedH5088,or utteredמִבְטָ֣אmiv.Ta'H4008ought out of her lipsשְׂפָתֶ֔יהָse.fa.Tei.haH8193,wherewith she boundH631her soulH5315;

7And her husbandH376heardוְשָׁמַ֥עve.sha.Ma'H8085it,and held his peaceוְהֶחֱרִ֣ישׁve.he.che.RishH2790at her in the dayבְּי֥וֹםbe.YomH3117that he heardשָׁמְע֖וֹsha.me.'OH8085it:then her vowsH5088shall standוְקָ֣מוּve.Ka.muH6965,and her bondsוֶֽאֱסָרֶ֛הָve.'e.sa.Re.haH632wherewith she boundH631her soulH5315shall standיָקֻֽמוּ׃ya.Ku.muH6965.

8But if her husbandH376disallowedיָנִ֣יאya.Ni'H5106her on the dayH3117that he heardH8085it;then he shall make her vow which she vowedH5088,and that which she utteredמִבְטָ֣אmiv.Ta'H4008with her lipsשְׂפָתֶ֔יהָse.fa.Tei.haH8193,wherewith she boundH631her soulH5315,of none effectוְהֵפֵ֗רve.he.FerH6565:And Yhwhוַיהוָ֖הva.Yah.wehH3068shall forgiveיִֽסְלַֽח־yis.lach-H5545her.

9But every vowH5088of a widowאַלְמָנָ֖ה'al.ma.NahH490,and of her that is divorcedוּגְרוּשָׁ֑הu.ge.ru.ShahH1644,wherewith they have boundH631their soulsH5315,shall standיָק֥וּםya.KumH6965against her.

10And if she vowedנָדָ֑רָהna.Da.rahH5087in her husband’sאִישָׁ֖הּ'i.ShahH376houseבֵּ֥יתbeitH1004,or boundH631her soulH5315by a bondאִסָּ֛ר'i.SarH632with an oathבִּשְׁבֻעָֽה׃bish.vu.'AhH7621;

11And her husbandH376heardוְשָׁמַ֤עve.sha.Ma'H8085it,and held his peaceוְהֶחֱרִ֣שׁve.he.che.RishH2790at her, anddisallowedהֵנִ֖יאhe.Ni'H5106her not: then all her vowsנְדָרֶ֔יהָne.da.Rei.haH5088shall standוְקָ֙מוּ֙ve.Ka.muH6965,and every bondH632wherewith she boundH631her soulH5315shall standיָקֽוּם׃ya.KumH6965.

12But if her husbandH376hath utterlyהָפֵר֩ha.FerH6565made them voidיָפֵ֨רya.FerH6565on the dayבְּי֣וֹםbe.YomH3117he heardH8085them; thenwhatsoever proceededמוֹצָ֨אmo.Tza'H4161out of her lipsשְׂפָתֶ֧יהָse.fa.Tei.haH8193concerning her vowsH5088,or concerning the bondH632of her soulH5315,shall not standH6965:her husbandH376hath made them voidהֲפֵרָ֔םha.fe.RamH6565;And Yhwhוַיהוָ֖הva.Yah.wehH3068shall forgiveיִֽסְלַֽח־yis.lach-H5545her.

13Every vowH5088,and every bindingH632oathשְׁבֻעַ֥תshe.vu.'AtH7621to afflictלְעַנֹּ֣תle.'a.NotH6031the soulH5315,her husbandH376may establishH6965it, or her husbandH376may make it voidH6565.

14But if her husbandH376altogetherהַחֲרֵשׁ֩ha.cha.ReshH2790hold his peaceיַחֲרִ֨ישׁya.cha.RishH2790at her from dayמִיּ֣וֹםmi.YomH3117to dayיוֹם֒yOmH3117;then he establishethH6965all her vowsH5088,or all her bondsH632, which areupon her: he confirmethH6965them, because he held his peaceהֶחֱרִ֥שׁhe.che.RishH2790at her in the dayבְּי֥וֹםbe.YomH3117that he heardשָׁמְעֽוֹ׃sha.me.'OH8085them.

15But if he shall any waysהָפֵ֥רha.FerH6565make them voidיָפֵ֛רya.FerH6565afterאַחֲרֵ֣י'a.cha.ReiH310that he hath heardH8085them;then he shall bearוְנָשָׂ֖אve.na.Sa'H5375her iniquityעֲוֹנָֽהּ׃'a.vo.NahH5771.

16These arethe statutesהַֽחֻקִּ֗יםha.chu.KimH2706,which Yhwhיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068commandedצִוָּ֤הtzi.VahH6680Mosesמֹשֶׁ֔הmo.ShehH4872,between a manאִ֖ישׁ'ishH376and his wifeלְאִשְׁתּ֑וֹle.'ish.ToH802,between the fatherאָ֣ב'avH1and his daughterלְבִתּ֔וֹle.vi.ToH1323, being yetin her youthבִּנְעֻרֶ֖יהָbin.'u.Rei.haH5271in her father’sאָבִֽיהָ׃ פ'a.Vi.haH1houseבֵּ֥יתbeitH1004.
