22Thereforeלָכֵ֞ןla.KhenH3651tellאֱמֹ֣ר'e.MorH559the houseלְבֵֽית־le.veit-H1004of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֗לYis.ra.'ElH3478that this is whatכֹּ֤הkohH3541the Lordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136GODיְהוִ֔הYah.wehH3069saysאָמַר֙'a.MarH559:It is notלֹ֧אlo'H3808for your sakeלְמַעַנְכֶ֛םle.ma.'an.KhemH4616that Iאֲנִ֥י'a.NiH589will actעֹשֶׂ֖ה'o.SehH6213,O houseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478,butכִּ֤י אִם־ki 'im-H3588 H518for My holyקָדְשִׁי֙kod.shiH6944nameלְשֵׁם־le.shem-H8034,whichאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834you profanedחִלַּלְתֶּ֔םchi.lal.TemH2490among the nationsבַּגּוֹיִ֖םba.go.YimH1471to whichאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834you wentבָּ֥אתֶם שָֽׁם׃Ba.tem ShamH935 H8033.

23I will show the holinessוְקִדַּשְׁתִּ֞יve.ki.dash.TiH6942אֶת־'et-H853of My greatהַגָּד֗וֹלha.ga.DolH1419nameשְׁמִ֣יshe.MiH8034,which has been profanedהַֽמְחֻלָּל֙ham.chu.LalH2490among the nationsבַּגּוֹיִ֔םba.go.YimH1471—the nameאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834you have profanedחִלַּלְתֶּ֖םchi.lal.TemH2490among themבְּתוֹכָ֑םbe.to.KhamH8432.Then the nationsהַגּוֹיִ֜םha.go.YimH1471will knowוְיָדְע֨וּve.ya.de.'UH3045thatכִּי־ki-H3588Iאֲנִ֣י'a.NiH589am the LORDיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068,declaresנְאֻם֙ne.'UmH5002the Lordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136GODיְהוִ֔הYah.wehH3069,when I show My holinessבְּהִקָּדְשִׁ֥יbe.hi.ka.de.ShiH6942in youbefore their eyesלְעֵינֵיהֶֽם׃le.'ei.nei.HemH5869.

24For I will takeוְלָקַחְתִּ֤יve.la.kach.TiH3947youאֶתְכֶם֙'et.KhemH853from amongמִן־min-H4480the nationsהַגּוֹיִ֔םha.go.YimH1471and gatherוְקִבַּצְתִּ֥יve.ki.batz.TiH6908youאֶתְכֶ֖ם'et.KhemH853out of allמִכָּל־mi.kolH3605the countriesהָאֲרָצ֑וֹתha.'a.ra.TzotH776,and I will bringוְהֵבֵאתִ֥יve.he.ve.TiH935youאֶתְכֶ֖ם'et.KhemH853back intoאֶל־'el-H413your own landאַדְמַתְכֶֽם׃'ad.mat.KhemH127.

25I will also sprinkleוְזָרַקְתִּ֧יve.za.rak.TiH2236cleanטְהוֹרִ֖יםte.ho.RimH2889waterמַ֥יִםMa.yimH4325on youעֲלֵיכֶ֛ם'a.lei.KhemH5921,and you will be cleanוּטְהַרְתֶּ֑םu.te.har.TemH2891.I will cleanseאֲטַהֵ֥ר'a.ta.HerH2891youאֶתְכֶֽם׃'et.KhemH853from allמִכֹּ֧לmi.KolH3605your impuritiesטֻמְאוֹתֵיכֶ֛םtum.'o.tei.KhemH2932and allוּמִכָּל־u.mi.kol-H3605your idolsגִּלּ֥וּלֵיכֶ֖םgi.Lu.lei.KhemH1544.

26I will giveוְנָתַתִּ֤יve.na.ta.TiH5414youa newחָדָ֔שׁcha.DashH2319heartלֵ֣בlevH3820and putאֶתֵּ֣ן'e.TenH5414a newחֲדָשָׁ֖הcha.da.ShahH2319spiritוְר֥וּחַve.Ru.achH7307within youבְּקִרְבְּכֶ֑םbe.kir.be.KhemH7130;I will removeוַהֲסִ֨רֹתִ֜יva.ha.Si.ro.TiH5493אֶת־'et-H853your heartלֵ֤בlevH3820of stoneהָאֶ֙בֶן֙ha.'E.venH68and giveוְנָתַתִּ֥יve.na.ta.TiH5414youa heartמִבְּשַׂרְכֶ֔ם לֵ֥בmi.be.sar.Khem levH3820 H1320of fleshבָּשָֽׂר׃ba.SarH1320.

27Andוְאֶת־ve.'EtH853I will putאֶתֵּ֣ן'e.TenH5414My Spiritרוּחִ֖יru.ChiH7307within youבְּקִרְבְּכֶ֑םbe.kir.be.KhemH7130and causeוְעָשִׂ֗יתִיve.'a.Si.tiH6213אֵ֤ת'etH853אֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834you to walkתֵּלֵ֔כוּte.Le.khuH1980in My statutesבְּחֻקַּי֙be.chu.KaiH2706and to carefullyתִּשְׁמְר֖וּtish.me.RuH8104observeוַעֲשִׂיתֶֽם׃va.'a.si.TemH6213My ordinancesוּמִשְׁפָּטַ֥יu.mish.pa.TaiH4941.

28Then you will liveוִישַׁבְתֶּ֣םvi.shav.TemH3427in the landבָּאָ֔רֶץba.'A.retzH776thatאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834I gaveנָתַ֖תִּיna.Ta.tiH5414your forefathersלַאֲבֹֽתֵיכֶ֑םla.'a.vo.tei.KhemH1;you will beוִהְיִ֤יתֶםvih.Yi.temH1961Mypeopleלְעָ֔םle.'AmH5971,and Iוְאָ֣נֹכִ֔יve.'A.no.KhiH595will beאֶהְיֶ֥ה'eh.YehH1961yourGodלֵאלֹהִֽים׃le.lo.HimH430.

29I will saveוְהוֹשַׁעְתִּ֣יve.ho.sha'.TiH3467youאֶתְכֶ֔ם'et.KhemH853from allמִכֹּ֖לmi.KolH3605your uncleannessטֻמְאֽוֹתֵיכֶ֑םtum.'o.tei.KhemH2932.I will summonוְקָרָ֤אתִי אֶל־ve.ka.Ra.ti 'el-H7121 H413the grainהַדָּגָן֙ha.da.GanH1715and make it plentifulוְהִרְבֵּיתִ֣יve.hir.bei.TiH7235אֹת֔וֹ'o.ToH853,and I will notוְלֹא־ve.lo'-H3808bringאֶתֵּ֥ן'e.TenH5414famineרָעָֽב׃ra.'AvH7458upon youעֲלֵיכֶ֖ם'a.lei.KhemH5921.

30I will also make the fruitפְּרִ֣יpe.RiH6529of the treesהָעֵ֔ץha.'EtzH6086and the cropsוּתְנוּבַ֖תu.te.nu.VatH8570of the fieldהַשָּׂדֶ֑הha.sa.DehH7704plentifulוְהִרְבֵּיתִי֙ve.hir.bei.TiH7235אֶת־'et-H853,so thatלְמַ֗עַןle.Ma.'anH4616אֲ֠שֶׁר'a.SherH834you will noלֹ֣אlo'H3808longerע֛וֹדodH5750bearתִקְח֥וּtik.ChuH3947reproachחֶרְפַּ֥תcher.PatH2781among the nationsבַּגּוֹיִֽם׃ba.go.YimH1471on account of famineרָעָ֖בra.'AvH7458.

31Then you will rememberוּזְכַרְתֶּם֙u.ze.khar.TemH2142אֶת־'et-H853your evilהָרָעִ֔יםha.ra.'ImH7451waysדַּרְכֵיכֶ֣םdar.khei.KhemH1870and wicked deedsוּמַעַלְלֵיכֶ֖םu.ma.'a.lei.KhemH4611אֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834לֹֽא־lo'-H3808טוֹבִ֑יםto.VimH2896,and you will loatheוּנְקֹֽטֹתֶם֙u.ne.ko.to.TemH6962yourselvesבִּפְנֵיכֶ֔םbif.nei.KhemH6440forעַ֚ל'alH5921your iniquitiesעֲוֹנֹ֣תֵיכֶ֔ם'a.vo.No.tei.KhemH5771andוְעַ֖לve.'AlH5921abominationsתּוֹעֲבֽוֹתֵיכֶֽם׃to.'a.Vo.tei.KhemH8441.

32It is notלֹ֧אlo'H3808for your sakeלְמַעַנְכֶ֣םle.ma.'an.KhemH4616that Iאֲנִֽי־'a.ni-H589will actעֹשֶׂ֗ה'o.SehH6213,declaresנְאֻם֙ne.'UmH5002the Lordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136GODיְהוִ֔הYah.wehH3069—let it be knownיִוָּדַ֖עyi.va.Da'H3045to you.Be ashamedבּ֧וֹשׁוּBo.o.shuH954and disgracedוְהִכָּלְמ֛וּve.hi.kal.MuH3637for your waysמִדַּרְכֵיכֶ֖םmi.dar.khei.KhemH1870,O houseבֵּ֥יתbeitH1004of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ סYis.ra.'ElH3478!

33This is whatכֹּ֤הkohH3541the Lordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136GODיְהוִ֔הYah.wehH3069saysאָמַר֙'a.MarH559:On the dayבְּיוֹם֙be.yOmH3117I cleanseטַהֲרִ֣יta.ha.RiH2891youאֶתְכֶ֔ם'et.KhemH853from allמִכֹּ֖לmi.KolH3605your iniquitiesעֲוֹנֽוֹתֵיכֶ֑םa.vo.no.tei.KhemH5771,I will cause the citiesהֶ֣עָרִ֔יםhe.'a.RimH5892to be resettledוְהֽוֹשַׁבְתִּי֙ve.ho.shav.TiH3427אֶת־'et-H853and the ruinsהֶחֳרָבֽוֹת׃he.cho.ra.VotH2723to be rebuiltוְנִבְנ֖וּve.niv.NuH1129.

34The desolateהַנְּשַׁמָּ֖הha.ne.sha.MahH8074landוְהָאָ֥רֶץve.ha.'A.retzH776will be cultivatedתֵּֽעָבֵ֑דte.'a.VedH5647instead ofתַּ֚חַתTa.chatH8478אֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834lyingהָיְתָ֣הha.ye.TahH1961desolateשְׁמָמָ֔הshe.ma.MahH8077in the sightלְעֵינֵ֖יle.'ei.NeiH5869of allכָּל־kol-H3605who pass throughעוֹבֵֽר׃o.VerH5674.

35Then they will sayוְאָמְר֗וּve.'a.me.RuH559, ‘Thisהַלֵּ֙זוּ֙ha.Le.zuH1977landהָאָ֤רֶץha.'A.retzH776that was desolateהַנְּשַׁמָּ֔הha.ne.sha.MahH8074has becomeהָיְתָ֖הha.ye.TahH1961like the gardenכְּגַן־ke.gan-H1588of Edenעֵ֑דֶן'E.denH5731.The citiesוְהֶעָרִ֧יםve.he.'a.RimH5892that were once ruinedהֶחֳרֵב֛וֹתhe.cho.re.VotH2720,desolateוְהַֽנְשַׁמּ֥וֹתve.han.sha.MotH8074,and destroyedוְהַנֶּהֱרָס֖וֹתve.ha.ne.he.ra.SotH2040are now fortifiedבְּצוּר֥וֹתbe.tzu.RotH1219and inhabitedיָשָֽׁבוּ׃ya.Sha.vuH3427.’

36Then the nationsהַגּוֹיִ֗םha.go.YimH1471around youסְבִיבוֹתֵיכֶם֒se.vi.vo.tei.KhemH5439thatאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834remainיִֽשָּׁאֲרוּ֮yi.sha.'a.RuH7604will knowוְיָדְע֣וּve.ya.de.'UH3045thatכִּ֣י׀kiH3588Iאֲנִ֣י'a.NiH589,the LORDיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068,have rebuiltבָּנִ֙יתִי֙ba.Ni.tiH1129what was destroyedהַנֶּ֣הֱרָס֔וֹתha.Ne.he.ra.SotH2040,and I have replantedנָטַ֖עְתִּיna.Ta'.tiH5193what was desolateהַנְּשַׁמָּ֑הha.ne.sha.MahH8074.Iאֲנִ֥י'a.NiH589,the LORDיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068,have spokenדִּבַּ֥רְתִּיdi.Bar.tiH1696,and I will do itוְעָשִֽׂיתִי׃ סve.'a.Si.tiH6213.

37This is whatכֹּ֤הkohH3541the Lordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136GODיְהוִ֔הYah.wehH3069saysאָמַר֙'a.MarH559:Once againע֗וֹדodH5750I will hear the pleaאִדָּרֵ֥שׁ'i.da.ReshH1875of the houseלְבֵֽית־le.veit-H1004of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478and doלַעֲשׂ֣וֹתla.'a.SotH6213for themthisזֹ֛אתzotH2063:I will multiplyאַרְבֶּ֥ה'ar.BehH7235אֹתָ֛ם'o.TamH853their peopleאָדָֽם׃'a.DamH120like a flockכַּצֹּ֖אןka.TzonH6629.

38Like the numerous flocksכְּצֹ֣אןke.TzonH6629for sacrificesקָֽדָשִׁ֗ים כְּצֹ֤אןka.da.Shim ke.TzonH6944 H6629at Jerusalemיְרוּשָׁלִַ֙ם֙ye.ru.sha.LimH3389during her appointed feastsבְּמ֣וֹעֲדֶ֔יהָbe.Mo.'a.Dei.haH4150,soכֵּ֤ןkenH3651the ruinedהֶחֳרֵב֔וֹתhe.cho.re.VotH2720citiesהֶעָרִ֣יםhe.'a.RimH5892will beתִּהְיֶ֙ינָה֙tih.Yei.nahH1961filledמְלֵא֖וֹתme.le.'otH4392with flocksצֹ֣אןtzonH6629of peopleאָדָ֑ם'a.DamH120.Then they will knowוְיָדְע֖וּve.ya.de.'UH3045thatכִּֽי־ki-H3588Iאֲנִ֥י'a.NiH589am the LORDיְהוָֽה׃ סYah.wehH3068.”
