3Behold, thou artwiserחָכָ֛םcha.KhamH2450than DanielH1840;there is no secretסָת֖וּםsa.TumH5640that they can hideעֲמָמֽוּךָ׃'a.ma.Mu.khaH6004from thee:

4With thy wisdomבְּחָכְמָֽתְךָ֙be.cha.khe.ma.te.KhaH2451and with thine understandingוּבִתְבוּנָ֣תְךָ֔u.vit.vu.Na.te.khaH8394thou hast gottenעָשִׂ֥יתָ'a.Si.taH6213thee richesחָ֑יִלCha.yilH2428,and hast gottenוַתַּ֛עַשׂva.Ta.'asH6213goldזָהָ֥בza.HavH2091and silverוָכֶ֖סֶףva.Khe.sefH3701into thy treasuresבְּאוֹצְרוֹתֶֽיךָ׃be.'otz.ro.Tei.khaH214:

5By thy greatבְּרֹ֧בbe.RoH7230wisdomחָכְמָתְךָ֛cha.khe.ma.te.KhaH2451andby thy traffickבִּרְכֻלָּתְךָ֖bir.khu.la.te.KhaH7404hast thou increasedהִרְבִּ֣יתָhir.Bi.taH7235thy richesחֵילֶ֑ךָchei.Le.khaH2428,and thine heartלְבָבְךָ֖le.va.ve.KhaH3824is lifted upוַיִּגְבַּ֥הּvai.yig.BahH1361because of thy richesבְּחֵילֶֽךָ׃ סbe.chei.Le.khaH2428:

6Therefore thus saithאָמַ֖ר'a.MarH559the Lordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136Yhwhיְהוִ֑הYah.wehH3069;Because thou hast setתִּתְּךָ֥ti.te.KhaH5414thine heartכְּלֵ֥בke.LevH3820as the heartלְבָבְךָ֖le.va.ve.KhaH3824of Godאֱלֹהִֽים׃'E.lo.HimH430;

7Behold, therefore I will bringמֵבִ֤יאme.Vi'H935strangersזָרִ֔יםza.RimH2114upon thee, the terribleעָרִיצֵ֖י'a.ri.TzeiH6184of the nationsגּוֹיִ֑םgo.YimH1471:and they shall drawוְהֵרִ֤יקוּve.he.Ri.kuH7324their swordsחַרְבוֹתָם֙char.vo.TamH2719against the beautyיְפִ֣יye.FiH3308of thy wisdomחָכְמָתֶ֔ךָcha.khe.ma.Te.khaH2451,and they shall defileוְחִלְּל֖וּve.chi.le.LuH2490thy brightnessיִפְעָתֶֽךָ׃yif.'a.Te.khaH3314.

8They shall bring thee downיֽוֹרִד֑וּךָyo.ri.Du.khaH3381to the pitלַשַּׁ֖חַתla.Sha.chatH7845,and thou shalt dieוָמַ֛תָּהva.Ma.tahH4191the deathsמְמוֹתֵ֥יme.mo.TeiH4463of them that areslainחָלָ֖לcha.LalH2491in the midstבְּלֵ֥בbe.LevH3820of the seasיַמִּֽים׃ya.MimH3220.

9Wilt thou yetהֶאָמֹ֤רhe.'a.MorH559sayתֹּאמַר֙to.MarH559beforeלִפְנֵ֖יlif.NeiH6440him that slayethהֹֽרְגֶ֑ךָho.re.Ge.khaH2026thee, I amGodאֱלֹהִ֣ים'E.lo.HimH430? but thou shalt bea manאָדָ֛ם'a.DamH120,and no godאֵ֖ל'elH410,in the handבְּיַ֥דbe.YadH3027of him that slayethמְחַלְלֶֽיךָ׃me.cha.Lei.khaH2490thee.

13Thou hast been in Edenבְּעֵ֨דֶןbe.'E.denH5731the gardenגַּן־gan-H1588of Godאֱלֹהִ֜ים'E.lo.HimH430;every preciousיְקָרָ֤הye.ka.RahH3368stoneאֶ֨בֶן'E.venH68wasthy coveringמְסֻכָתֶ֙ךָ֙me.su.kha.Te.khaH4540,the sardiusאֹ֣דֶם'O.demH124,topazפִּטְדָ֞הpit.DahH6357,and the diamondוְיָהֲלֹ֗םve.ya.ha.LomH3095,the berylתַּרְשִׁ֥ישׁtar.ShishH8658,the onyxשֹׁ֙הַם֙sho.hamH7718,and the jasperוְיָ֣שְׁפֵ֔הve.Ya.she.PehH3471,the sapphireסַפִּ֣ירsa.PirH5601,the emeraldנֹ֔פֶךְNo.fekhH5306,and the carbuncleוּבָרְקַ֖תu.va.re.KatH1304,and goldוְזָהָ֑בve.za.HavH2091:the workmanshipמְלֶ֨אכֶתme.Le.khetH4399of thy tabretsתֻּפֶּ֤יךָtu.Pei.khaH8596and of thy pipesוּנְקָבֶ֙יךָ֙u.ne.ka.Vei.chaH5345was preparedכּוֹנָֽנוּ׃ko.Na.nuH3559in thee in the dayבְּי֥וֹםbe.YomH3117that thou wast createdהִבָּרַאֲךָ֖hi.ba.ra.'a.KhaH1254.

14Thou artthe anointedמִמְשַׁ֖חmi.ShachH4473cherubכְּר֔וּבke.RuvH3742that coverethהַסּוֹכֵ֑ךְha.so.KhekhH5526;and I have setוּנְתַתִּ֗יךָu.ne.ta.Ti.khaH5414thee so:thou wast upon the holyקֹ֤דֶשׁKo.deshH6944mountainבְּהַ֨רbe.HarH2022of Godאֱלֹהִים֙'E.lo.HimH430;thou hast walked up and downהִתְהַלָּֽכְתָּ׃hit.ha.La.khe.taH1980in the midstבְּת֥וֹךְbe.TokhH8432of the stonesאַבְנֵי־'av.nei-H68of fireאֵ֖שׁ'eshH784.

15Thou wastperfectתָּמִ֤יםta.MimH8549in thy waysבִּדְרָכֶ֔יךָbid.ra.Khei.khaH1870from the dayמִיּ֖וֹםmi.YomH3117that thou wast createdהִבָּֽרְאָ֑ךְhi.ba.re.'AkhH1254,till iniquityעַוְלָ֖תָה'av.La.tahH5766was foundנִמְצָ֥אnim.Tza'H4672in thee.

16By the multitudeבְּרֹ֣בbe.RoH7230of thy merchandiseרְכֻלָּתְךָ֗re.khu.la.te.KhaH7404they have filledמָל֧וּma.LuH4390the midstתוֹכְךָ֛tokh.KhaH8432of thee with violenceחָמָ֖סcha.MasH2555,and thou hast sinnedוַֽתֶּחֱטָ֑אva.te.che.Ta'H2398:therefore I will cast thee as profaneוָאֶחַלֶּלְךָ֩va.'e.cha.lel.KhaH2490out of the mountainמֵהַ֨רme.HarH2022of Godאֱלֹהִ֤ים'E.lo.HimH430:and I will destroyוָֽאַבֶּדְךָ֙va.'a.bed.KhaH6thee, O coveringהַסֹּכֵ֔ךְha.so.KhekhH5526cherubכְּר֣וּבke.RuvH3742,from the midstמִתּ֖וֹךְmi.TokhH8432of the stonesאַבְנֵי־'av.nei-H68of fireאֵֽשׁ׃'EshH784.

17Thine heartלִבְּךָ֙li.be.KhaH3820was lifted upגָּבַ֤הּga.VahH1361because of thy beautyבְּיָפְיֶ֔ךָbe.ya.fe.Ye.khaH3308,thou hast corruptedשִׁחַ֥תָּshi.Cha.taH7843thy wisdomחָכְמָתְךָ֖cha.khe.ma.te.KhaH2451by reason ofH5921thy brightnessיִפְעָתֶ֑ךָyif.'a.Te.khaH3314:I will castהִשְׁלַכְתִּ֗יךָhish.lakh.Ti.khaH7993thee to the groundאֶ֣רֶץ'E.retzH776,I will layנְתַתִּ֖יךָne.ta.Ti.khaH5414thee beforeלִפְנֵ֧יlif.NeiH6440kingsמְלָכִ֛יםme.la.KhimH4428,that they may beholdלְרַ֥אֲוָהle.Ra.'a.vahH7200thee.

18Thou hast defiledחִלַּ֖לְתָּchi.Lal.taH2490thy sanctuariesמִקְדָּשֶׁ֑יךָmik.da.Shei.chaH4720by the multitudeמֵרֹ֣בme.RoH7230of thine iniquitiesעֲוֹנֶ֗יךָ'a.vo.Nei.khaH5771,by the iniquityבְּעֶ֙וֶל֙be.'E.velH5766of thy traffickרְכֻלָּ֣תְךָ֔re.khu.La.te.khaH7404;therefore will I bring forthוָֽאוֹצִא־va.'o.tzi'-H3318a fireאֵ֤שׁ'eshH784from the midstמִתּֽוֹכְךָ֙mi.tokh.KhaH8432of thee, it shall devourאֲכָלַ֔תְךָ'a.kha.Lat.khaH398thee, and I will bringוָאֶתֶּנְךָ֤va.'e.ten.KhaH5414thee to ashesלְאֵ֙פֶר֙le.'E.ferH665upon the earthהָאָ֔רֶץha.'A.retzH776in the sightלְעֵינֵ֖יle.'ei.NeiH5869of all them that beholdרֹאֶֽיךָ׃ro.'Ei.khaH7200thee.

19All they that knowיוֹדְעֶ֙יךָ֙yod.'Ei.khaH3045thee among the peopleבָּֽעַמִּ֔יםba.'a.MimH5971shall be astonishedשָׁמְמ֖וּsha.me.MuH8074at thee: thou shalt be a terrorבַּלָּה֣וֹתba.la.HotH1091,and neverוְאֵינְךָ֖ve.'ei.ne.KhaH369shalt thou beany moreעַד־ עוֹלָֽם׃ פ'ad- o.LamH5769 H5704.

20Again the wordדְבַר־de.var-H1697of Yhwhיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068came unto me, sayingלֵאמֹֽר׃le.MorH559,

21Sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of manאָדָ֕ם'a.DamH120,setשִׂ֥יםsimH7760thy faceפָּנֶ֖יךָpa.Nei.khaH6440against Sidonצִיד֑וֹןtzi.DonH6721,and prophesyוְהִנָּבֵ֖אve.hi.na.Ve'H5012against it,

22And sayוְאָמַרְתָּ֗ve.'a.mar.TaH559,Thus saithאָמַר֙'a.MarH559the Lordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136Yhwhיְהוִ֔הYah.wehH3069; Behold, I amagainst thee, O Sidonצִיד֔וֹןtzi.DonH6721;and I will be glorifiedוְנִכְבַּדְתִּ֖יve.nikh.bad.TiH3513in the midstבְּתוֹכֵ֑ךְbe.to.KhekhH8432of thee: and they shall knowוְֽיָדְע֞וּve.ya.de.'UH3045that I amYhwhיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068,when I shall have executedבַּעֲשׂ֥וֹתִיba.'a.So.tiH6213judgmentsשְׁפָטִ֖יםshe.fa.TimH8201in her, and shall be sanctifiedוְנִקְדַּ֥שְׁתִּיve.nik.Dash.tiH6942in her.

23For I will sendוְשִׁלַּחְתִּי־ve.shi.lach.ti-H7971into her pestilenceדֶּ֤בֶרDe.verH1698,and bloodוָדָם֙va.DamH1818into her streetsבְּח֣וּצוֹתֶ֔יהָbe.Chu.tzo.Tei.haH2351;and the woundedחָלָל֙cha.LalH2491shall be judgedוְנִפְלַ֤לve.nif.LalH5307in the midstבְּתוֹכָ֔הּbe.to.KhahH8432of her by the swordבְּחֶ֥רֶבbe.Che.revH2719upon her on every sideמִסָּבִ֑יבmi.sa.VivH5439;and they shall knowוְיָדְע֖וּve.ya.de.'UH3045that I amYhwhיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

24And there shall be no more a prickingמַמְאִיר֙mam.'IrH3992brierסִלּ֤וֹןsi.LonH5544unto the houseלְבֵ֣יתle.VeitH1004of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֗לYis.ra.'ElH3478, nor anygrievingמַכְאִ֔בmakh.'IvH3510thornוְק֣וֹץve.KotzH6975of all that areround aboutסְבִ֣יבֹתָ֔םse.Vi.vo.TamH5439them, that despisedהַשָּׁאטִ֖יםha.sha.TimH7590them; and they shall knowוְיָ֣דְע֔וּve.Ya.de.'UH3045that I amthe Lordאֲדֹנָ֥י'a.do.NaiH136Yhwhיְהוִֽה׃ סYah.wehH3069.

25Thus saithאָמַר֮'a.MarH559the Lordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136Yhwhיְהוִה֒Yah.wehH3069;When I shall have gatheredבְּקַבְּצִ֣י׀be.ka.be.TziH6908the houseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֗לYis.ra.'ElH3478from the peopleהָֽעַמִּים֙ha.'a.MimH5971among whom they are scatteredנָפֹ֣צוּna.Fo.tzuH6327,and shall be sanctifiedוְנִקְדַּ֥שְׁתִּיve.nik.Dash.tiH6942in them in the sightלְעֵינֵ֣יle.'ei.NeiH5869of the heathenהַגּוֹיִ֑םha.go.YimH1471,then shall they dwellוְיָֽשְׁבוּ֙ve.ya.she.VuH3427in their landאַדְמָתָ֔ם'ad.ma.TamH127that I have givenנָתַ֖תִּיna.Ta.tiH5414to my servantלְעַבְדִּ֥יle.'av.DiH5650Jacobלְיַעֲקֹֽב׃le.ya.'a.KoH3290.

26And they shall dwellוְיָשְׁב֣וּve.ya.she.VuH3427safelyלָבֶטַח֒la.ve.TachH983therein, and shall buildוּבָנ֤וּu.va.NuH1129housesבָתִּים֙va.TimH1004,and plantוְנָטְע֣וּve.na.te.'UH5193vineyardsכְרָמִ֔יםkhe.ra.MimH3754;yea, they shall dwellוְיָשְׁב֖וּve.ya.she.VuH3427with confidenceלָבֶ֑טַחla.Ve.tachH983,when I have executedבַּעֲשׂוֹתִ֣יba.'a.so.TiH6213judgmentsשְׁפָטִ֗יםshe.fa.TimH8201upon all those that despiseהַשָּׁאטִ֤יםha.sha.TimH7590them round aboutמִסְּבִ֣יבוֹתָ֔םmi.se.Vi.vo.TamH5439them; and they shall knowוְיָ֣דְע֔וּve.Ya.de.'UH3045that I amYhwhיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068their Godאֱלֹהֵיהֶֽם׃ ס'e.lo.hei.HemH430.
