Mark 14:43-65
43And straightway, while he yet spake, cometh JudasG2455, oneG1520 of the twelveG1427, and with him a multitudeG3793 with swordsG3162 and staves, from the chiefG749 priestsG749 and the scribesG1122 and the eldersG4245. 44NowG1161 he that betrayedG3860 him had givenG1325 them a token, sayingG3004, Whomsoever I shall kissG5368, that isG1510 he; takeG2902 him, and leadG520 him awayG520 safely. 45And when he was comeG2064, straightway he cameG2064 to him, and saith, RabbiG4461; and kissed him. 46And they laidG1911 handsG5495 on him, and tookG2902 him. 47But a certainG5100 oneG1520 of them that stoodG3936 by drew his swordG3162, and smote the servantG1401 of the highG749 priestG749, and struck off his earG5621. 48And JesusG2424 answeredG611 and saidG3004 unto them, Are ye comeG1831 out, as against a robberG3027, with swordsG3162 and staves to seize me? 49I wasG1510 daily with you in the templeG2411 teachingG1321, and ye tookG2902 me not: but this isG1510 done that the scripturesG1124 might beG1510 fulfilled. 50And they all leftG863 him, and fledG5343.
51And a certainG5100 youngG3495 man followed with him, having a linenG4616 clothG4616 cast about him, over his nakedG1131 body: and they lay holdG2902 on him; 52but he leftG2641 the linenG4616 clothG4616, and fledG5343 nakedG1131.
53And they ledG520 JesusG2424 awayG520 to the highG749 priestG749: and there comeG4905 togetherG4905 with him all the chiefG749 priestsG749 and the eldersG4245 and the scribesG1122. 54And PeterG4074 had followedG190 him afar off, evenG2532 within, into the courtG833 of the highG749 priestG749; and he wasG1510 sitting with the officersG5257, and warmingG2328 himself in the lightG5457 of the fire. 55NowG1161 the chiefG749 priestsG749 and the wholeG3650 councilG4892 soughtG2212 witnessG3141 against JesusG2424 to putG2289 him to deathG2289; and foundG2147 it not. 56For manyG4183 bare falseG5576 witnessG5576 against him, and their witnessG5576 agreed not together. 57And there stoodG450 up certainG5100, and bare falseG5576 witnessG5576 against him, sayingG3004, 58We heardG191 him sayG3004, I will destroyG2647 this templeG3485 that is made with handsG5499, and in threeG5140 daysG2250 I will buildG3618 another made without handsG5499. 59And not evenG2532 so did their witnessG3141 agree together. 60And the highG749 priestG749 stoodG450 up in the midstG3319, and askedG1905 JesusG2424, sayingG3004, Answerest thou nothing? what is it which these witness against thee? 61But he held his peace, and answeredG611 nothing. AgainG3825 the highG749 priestG749 askedG1905 him, and saith unto him, Art thou the ChristG5547, the SonG5207 of the Blessed? 62And JesusG2424 saidG3004, I amG1510: and ye shall seeG3708 the SonG5207 of manG444 sittingG2521 at the rightG1188 handG1188 of PowerG1411, and comingG2064 with the cloudsG3507 of heavenG3772. 63And the highG749 priestG749 rent his clothes, and saith, What further needG5532 have we of witnessesG3144? 64Ye have heardG191 the blasphemyG988: what think ye? And they all condemnedG2632 him to beG1510 worthy of deathG2288. 65And some beganG757 to spitG1716 on him, and to cover his faceG4383, and to buffet him, and to sayG3004 unto him, ProphesyG4395: and the officersG5257 receivedG2983 him with blows of their hands.
