And SolomonH8010 broughtH935 in the thingsH6944 that DavidH1732 his fatherH1 had dedicated, even the silverH3701, and the goldH2091, and all the vesselsH3627, and putH5414 them in the treasuriesH214 of the houseH1004 of GodH430.

2ThenH227 SolomonH8010 assembledH6950 the eldersH2205 of IsraelH3478, and all the headsH7218 of the tribesH4294, the princesH5387 of the fathers’H1housesof the children of IsraelH3478, unto JerusalemH3389, to bringH5927 up the arkH727 of the covenantH1285 of Jehovah out of the cityH5892 of DavidH1732, which is ZionH6726. 3And all the menH376 of IsraelH3478 assembledH6950 themselves unto the kingH4428 at the feastH2282, which was in the seventhH7637 monthH2320. 4And all the eldersH2205 of IsraelH3478 cameH935: and the LevitesH3881 tookH5375 up the arkH727; 5and they broughtH5927 up the arkH727, and the tentH168 of meetingH4150, and all the holyH6944 vesselsH3627 that were in the TentH168; these did the priestsH3548 the LevitesH3881 bringH5927 up. 6And kingH4428 SolomonH8010 and all the congregationH5712 of IsraelH3478, that were assembled unto him, were before the arkH727, sacrificingH2076 sheepH6629 and oxenH1241, that could not be countedH5608 nor numbered for multitudeH7230. 7And the priestsH3548 broughtH935 in the arkH727 of the covenantH1285 of Jehovah unto its placeH4725, into the oracle of the houseH1004, to the most holyH6944 placeH4725, even under the wingsH3671 of the cherubimH3742. 8For the cherubimH3742 spreadH6566 forth their wingsH3671 over the placeH4725 of the arkH727, and the cherubimH3742 coveredH3680 the arkH727 and the staves thereof above. 9And the staves wereH1961 so long that the ends of the staves wereH1961 seenH7200 from the arkH727 before the oracle; but they wereH1961 not seenH7200 without: and there it is unto this dayH3117. 10There was nothingH369 in the arkH727 save the twoH8147 tables which MosesH4872 putH5414 there at HorebH2722, whenH834 Jehovah madeH3772 a covenant with the children of IsraelH3478, whenH834 they cameH3318 out of EgyptH4714.

11And it came to pass, when the priestsH3548 wereH1961 come out of the holyH6944 placeH6944 (for all the priestsH3548 that wereH1961 present had sanctifiedH6942 themselves, and did not keepH8104 their courses; 12also the LevitesH3881 who were the singersH7891, all of them, even AsaphH623, HemanH1968, JeduthunH3038, and their sonsH1121 and their brethren, arrayed in fineH948 linenH948, with cymbalsH4700 and psalteries and harpsH3658, stoodH5975 at the eastH4217 end of the altarH4196, and with them a hundredH3967 and twentyH6242 priestsH3548 sounding with trumpetsH2689); 13it came to pass, when the trumpeters and singersH7891 wereH1961 as oneH259, to makeH8085 oneH259 soundH6963 to beH1961 heardH8085 in praisingH1984 and thanking Jehovah; and when they liftedH7311 up their voiceH6963 with the trumpetsH2689 and cymbalsH4700 and instrumentsH3627 of music, and praisedH1984 Jehovah, saying, For he is goodH2896; for his lovingkindness endureth for everH5769; that then the houseH1004 wasH1961 filledH4390 with a cloudH6051, even the houseH1004 of Jehovah, 14so that the priestsH3548 could not standH5975 to minister by reason of the cloudH6051: for the gloryH3519 of Jehovah filledH4390 the houseH1004 of GodH430.
