1 Samuel 30:21-25
21And DavidH1732 cameH935 to the two hundredH3967 menH376, who were so faint that they could not follow DavidH1732, whom also they had made to abide at the brook BesorH1308; and they wentH3318 forthH3318 to meetH7122 DavidH1732, and to meetH7122 the peopleH5971 that were with him: and whenH834 DavidH1732 cameH935 near to the peopleH5971, he saluted them. 22Then answered all the wickedH7451 menH376 and base fellows, of those that wentH1980 with DavidH1732, and saidH559, Because they wentH1980 not with us, we will not giveH5414 them aught of the spoilH7998 that we have recovered, save to every manH376 his wifeH802 and his children, that he may lead them away, and depart. 23Then saidH559 DavidH1732, Ye shall not do soH3651, my brethren, with that which Jehovah hath givenH5414 unto us, who hath preservedH8104 us, and delivered the troopH1416 that cameH935 against us into our handH3027. 24And who will hearken unto you in this matterH1697? for as his shareH2506 is that goeth downH3381 to the battleH4421, so shall his shareH2506 be that tarrieth by the baggage: they shall shareH2506 alikeH3162. 25And it wasH1961 so from that dayH3117 forward, that he madeH7760 it a statuteH2706 and an ordinanceH4941 for IsraelH3478 unto this dayH3117.
