1 Samuel 12:19-24
19And all the peopleH5971 saidH559 unto SamuelH8050, PrayH6419 for thy servantsH5650 unto Jehovah thy GodH430, that we dieH4191 not; for we have addedH3254 unto all our sinsH2403 this evilH7451, to askH7592 us a kingH4428. 20And SamuelH8050 saidH559 unto the peopleH5971, FearH3372 not: ye have indeed done all this evilH7451; yet turnH5493 not asideH5493 from following Jehovah, but serveH5647 Jehovah with all your heartH3824: 21and turnH5493 ye not asideH5493; for then would ye go after vain things which cannot profitH3276 nor deliverH5337, for they are vain. 22For Jehovah will not forsake his peopleH5971 for his greatH1419 name’sH8034 sakeH5668, because it hath pleased Jehovah to makeH6213 you a peopleH5971 unto himself. 23Moreover as for me, farH2486 be it from me that I should sinH2398 against Jehovah in ceasingH2308 to prayH6419 for you: but I will instructH3384 you in the goodH2896 and the rightH3477 wayH1870. 24OnlyH389 fearH3372 Jehovah, and serveH5647 him in truthH571 with all your heartH3824; for considerH7200 how greatH1431 things he hath done for you.
