1 Samuel 10:17-25
17And SamuelH8050 called the peopleH5971 together unto Jehovah to MizpahH4709; 18and he saidH559 unto the children of IsraelH3478, ThusH3541 saith Jehovah, the GodH430 of IsraelH3478, I broughtH5927 up IsraelH3478 out of EgyptH4714, and I deliveredH5337 you out of the handH3027 of the Egyptians, and out of the handH3027 of all the kingdomsH4467 that oppressedH3905 you: 19but ye have this dayH3117 rejectedH3988 your GodH430, who himself saveth you out of all your calamities and your distresses; and ye have saidH559 unto him, Nay, but setH7760 a kingH4428 over us. NowH6258 thereforeH6258 presentH3320 yourselves before Jehovah by your tribesH7626, and by your thousandsH505. 20So SamuelH8050 broughtH7126 all the tribesH7626 of IsraelH3478 near, and the tribeH7626 of BenjaminH1144 was takenH3920. 21And he broughtH7126 the tribeH7626 of BenjaminH1144 near by their familiesH4940; and the familyH4940 of the Matrites was takenH3920; and SaulH7586 the sonH1121 of KishH7027 was takenH3920: but when they soughtH1245 him, he could not be foundH4672. 22Therefore they askedH7592 of Jehovah further, Is there yetH5750 a manH376 to comeH935 hither? And Jehovah answered, Behold, he hath hidH2244 himself among the baggage. 23And they ranH7323 and fetched him thence; and when he stoodH3320 among the peopleH5971, he was higher than any of the peopleH5971 from his shouldersH7926 and upwardH4605. 24And SamuelH8050 saidH559 to all the peopleH5971, SeeH7200 ye him whom Jehovah hath chosenH977, that there is none like him among all the peopleH5971? And all the peopleH5971 shoutedH7321, and saidH559, Long liveH2421 the kingH4428.
25Then SamuelH8050 told the peopleH5971 the manner of the kingdom, and wroteH3789 it in a bookH5612, and laid it up before Jehovah. And SamuelH8050 sentH7971 all the peopleH5971 awayH7971, every manH376 to his houseH1004.
