1 And it came G2064 to pass ἐγένετο egeneto G1096 , when he went into the house οἶκόν oikon G3624 of one τινος tinos G5100 of the rulers ἀρχόντων archontōn G758 of the Pharisees Φαρισαίων Pharisaiōn G5330 on a sabbath σαββάτῳ sabbatō G4521 to eat G2068 bread ἄρτον arton G740 , that they were G1510 watching παρατηρούμενοι paratēroumenoi G3906 him . 2 And behold ἰδοὺ idou G2400 , there was G1510 before him a certain τις tis G5100 man ἄνθρωπός anthrōpos G444 that had the dropsy . 3 And Jesus Ἰησοῦς Iēsous G2424 answering ἀποκριθεὶς apokritheis G611 spake unto the lawyers νομικοὺς nomikous G3544 and Pharisees Φαρισαίους Pharisaious G5330 , saying λέγων· legōn G3004 , Is it lawful ἔξεστιν exestin G1832 to heal θεραπεῦσαι therapeusai G2323 on the sabbath σαββάτῳ sabbatō G4521 , or not ? 4 But they held their peace. The first πρῶτος prōtos G4413 said G3004 unto him , I have bought G59 a field ἀγρὸν agron G68 , and I must needs go G1831 out and see G3708 it ; I pray thee have me excused . 19 And another said G3004 , I have bought G59 five πέντε pente G4002 yoke of oxen βοῶν boōn G1016 , and I go G4198 to prove them ; I pray thee have me excused . 21 And the servant δοῦλος doulos G1401 came G1831 , and told G3004 his lord G2962 these things ταῦτα.¶ tauta G3778 . Then the master κυρίῳ kuriō G2962 of the house οἰκοδεσπότης oikodespotēs G3617 being angry ὀργισθεὶς orgistheis G3710 said G3004 to his servant δούλῳ doulō G1401 , Go ἔξελθε exelthe G1831 out quickly into the streets G4505 and lanes of the city πόλεως, poleōs G4172 , and bring εἰσάγαγε eisagage G1521 in hither the poor πτωχοὺς ptōchous G4434 and maimed and blind τυφλοὺς tuphlous G5185 and lame χωλοὺς chōlous G5560 . 23 And the lord G2962 said G3004 unto the servant δοῦλον· doulon G1401 , Go ἔξελθε exelthe G1831 out into the highways ὁδοὺς hodous G3598 and hedges , and constrain them to come G1831 in , that my house οἶκος. oikos G3624 may be filled γεμισθῇ gemisthēa G1072 . 24 For I say λέγω legō G3004 unto you , that none G3762 of those men G435 that were bidden shall taste γεύσεταί geusetai G1089 of my supper δείπνου deipnou G1173 .
