2Sonבֶּן־ben-H1121ofmanאָדָ֕ם'a.DamH120,setשִׂ֥יםsimH7760thyfaceפָּנֶ֖יךָpa.Nei.khaH6440againstmountהַ֣רharH2022Seirשֵׂעִ֑ירse.'IrH8165, andprophesyוְהִנָּבֵ֖אve.hi.na.Ve'H5012against it,

3Andsayוְאָמַ֣רְתָּve.'a.Mar.taH559to it, Thussaithאָמַר֙'a.MarH559theLordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136GODיְהוִ֔הYah.wehH3069; Behold, Omountהַר־har-H2022Seirשֵׂעִ֑ירse.'IrH8165, I am against thee, and I will stretchoutוְנָטִ֤יתִיve.na.Ti.tiH5186myhandיָדִי֙ya.DiH3027against thee, and I willmakeוּנְתַתִּ֖יךָu.ne.ta.Ti.khaH5414theemostוּמְשַׁמָּֽה׃u.me.sha.MahH4923desolateשְׁמָמָ֥הshe.ma.MahH8077.

4I willlayאָשִׂ֔ים'a.SimH7760thycitiesעָרֶ֙יךָ֙'a.Rei.khaH5892wasteחָרְבָּ֣הcha.re.BahH2723, and thou shalt bedesolateשְׁמָמָ֣הshe.ma.MahH8077, and thou shaltknowוְיָדַעְתָּ֖ve.ya.da'.TaH3045that I am theLORDיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

5Because thou hast had aperpetualעוֹלָ֔םo.LamH5769hatredאֵיבַ֣ת'ei.VatH342, and hastshedוַתַּגֵּ֥רva.ta.GerH5064the blood of thechildrenבְּנֵֽי־be.nei-H1121ofIsraelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478by theforceיְדֵי־ye.dei-H3027of theswordחָ֑רֶבCha.revH2719in thetimeבְּעֵ֣תbe.'EtH6256of theircalamityאֵידָ֔ם'ei.DamH343, in thetimeבְּעֵ֖תbe.'EtH6256that theiriniquityעֲוֹ֥ן'a.VonH5771had anendקֵֽץ׃KetzH7093:

6Therefore, as Iliveחַי־chai-H2416,saithנְאֻם֙ne.'UmH5002theLordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136GODיְהוִ֔הYah.wehH3069, I willprepareאֶעֶשְׂךָ֖'e.'es.KhaH6213thee tobloodלְדָ֥םle.DamH1818, andbloodוְדָ֣םve.DamH1818shallpursueיִרְדֲּפֶ֑ךָyir.da.Fe.khaH7291thee:sinceאִם־'im-H518thou hast nothatedשָׂנֵ֖אתָsa.Ne.taH8130bloodדָ֛םdamH1818, evenbloodוְדָ֥םve.DamH1818shallpursueיִרְדֲּפֶֽךָ׃yir.da.Fe.khaH7291thee.

7Thus will Imakeוְנָֽתַתִּי֙ve.na.ta.TiH5414mountהַ֣רharH2022Seirשֵׂעִ֔ירse.'IrH8165mostלְשִֽׁמְמָ֖הle.shi.MahH8077desolateוּשְׁמָמָ֑הu.she.ma.MahH8077, and cutoffוְהִכְרַתִּ֥יve.hikh.ra.TiH3772from it him that passethoutעֹבֵ֥ר'o.VerH5674and him thatreturnethוָשָֽׁב׃va.ShavH7725.

8And I willfillוּמִלֵּאתִ֥יu.mi.le.TiH4390hismountainsהָרָ֖יוha.RavH2022with hisslainחֲלָלָ֑יוcha.la.LavH2491men : in thyhillsגִּבְעוֹתֶ֤יךָgiv.'o.Tei.khaH1389, and in thyvalleysוְגֵאוֹתֶ֙יךָ֙ve.ge.'o.Tei.khaH1516, and in all thyriversאֲפִיקֶ֔יךָ'a.fi.Kei.chaH650, shall theyfallיִפְּל֥וּyi.pe.LuH5307that areslainחַלְלֵי־cha.lei-H2491with theswordחֶ֖רֶבChe.revH2719.

9I willmakeאֶתֶּנְךָ֔'e.ten.KhaH5414theeperpetualעוֹלָם֙o.LamH5769desolationsשִֽׁמְמ֤וֹתshi.MotH8077, and thycitiesוְעָרֶ֖יךָve.'a.Rei.khaH5892shall notreturnתָשֹׁ֑בְנָהtei.shav.nahH7725 H3427: and ye shallknowוִֽידַעְתֶּ֖םvi.da'.TemH3045that I am theLORDיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

10Because thou hastsaidאֲ֠מָרְךָ'A.ma.re.khaH559, Thesetwoשְׁנֵ֨יshe.NeiH8147nationsהַגּוֹיִ֜םha.go.YimH1471and thesetwoשְׁתֵּ֧יshe.TeiH8147countriesהָאֲרָצ֛וֹתha.'a.ra.TzotH776shall be mine, and we willpossessוִֽירַשְׁנ֑וּהָvi.rash.Nu.haH3423it; though theLORDוַֽיהוָ֖הva.Yah.wehH3068was there:

11Therefore, as Iliveחַי־chai-H2416,saithנְאֻם֮ne.'UmH5002theLordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136GODיְהוִה֒Yah.wehH3069, I will evendoוְעָשִׂ֗יתִיve.'a.Si.tiH6213according to thyangerכְּאַפְּךָ֙ke.'a.pe.KhaH639, and according to thyenvyוּכְקִנְאָ֣תְךָ֔u.khe.kin.'A.te.khaH7068which thou hastusedעָשִׂ֔יתָה'a.Si.tahH6213out of thyhatredמִשִּׂנְאָתֶ֖יךָmi.sin.'a.Tei.khaH8135against them; and I will make myselfknownוְנוֹדַ֥עְתִּיve.no.Da'.tiH3045among them, when I havejudgedאֶשְׁפְּטֶֽךָ׃'esh.pe.Te.khaH8199thee.

12And thou shaltknowוְֽיָדַעְתָּ֮ve.ya.da'.TaH3045that I am theLORDיְהוָה֒Yah.wehH3068, and that I haveheardשָׁמַ֣עְתִּי׀sha.Ma'.tiH8085all thyblasphemiesנָאָֽצוֹתֶ֗יךָna.'a.tzo.Tei.khaH5007which thou hastspokenאָמַ֛רְתָּ'a.Mar.taH559against themountainsהָרֵ֥יha.ReiH2022ofIsraelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478,sayingלֵאמֹ֣ר׀le.MorH559, They are laiddesolateשָׁמֵ֑מוּsha.Me.muH8074 H8077, they aregivenנִתְּנ֖וּni.te.NuH5414us toconsumeלְאָכְלָֽה׃le.'okh.LahH402.

13Thus with yourmouthבְּפִיכֶ֔םbe.fi.KhemH6310ye haveboastedוַתַּגְדִּ֤ילוּva.tag.Di.luH1431against me, and havemultipliedוְהַעְתַּרְתֶּ֥םve.ha'.tar.TemH6280yourwordsדִּבְרֵיכֶ֑םdiv.rei.KhemH1697against me: I haveheardשָׁמָֽעְתִּי׃ סsha.Ma.'e.tiH8085them .

14Thussaithאָמַ֖ר'a.MarH559theLordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136GODיְהוִ֑הYah.wehH3069; When the wholeearthהָאָ֔רֶץha.'A.retzH776rejoicethכִּשְׂמֹ֙חַ֙kis.Mo.achH8055, I willmakeאֶעֱשֶׂה־'e.'e.seh-H6213theedesolateשְׁמָמָ֖הshe.ma.MahH8077.

15As thou didstrejoiceכְּשִׂמְחָ֨תְךָ֜ke.sim.Cha.te.khaH8057at theinheritanceלְנַחְלַ֧תle.nach.LatH5159of thehouseבֵּֽית־beit-H1004ofIsraelיִשְׂרָאֵ֛לYis.ra.'ElH3478, because it wasdesolateשָׁמֵ֖מָהsha.Me.mahH8074, so will Idoאֶעֱשֶׂה־'e.'e.seh-H6213to thee: thou shalt bedesolateשְׁמָמָ֨הshe.ma.MahH8077, Omountהַר־har-H2022Seirשֵׂעִיר֙se.'IrH8165, and allEdomאֱד֣וֹם'e.DomH123, even all of it: and they shallknowוְיָדְע֖וּve.ya.de.'UH3045that I am theLORDיְהוָֽה׃ פYah.wehH3068.
