3andsayH559unto it,Thusכֹּ֤הkohH3541saith theLordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136GODH136:Beholdהִנְנִ֥יhi.NiH2005, I amagainstH5921thee, Omountהַר־har-H2022Seirשֵׂעִ֑ירse.'IrH8165, and I willstretchוְנָטִ֤יתִיve.na.Ti.tiH5186outH5186minehandיָדִי֙ya.DiH3027againstH5921thee, and I willmakeוּנְתַתִּ֖יךָu.ne.ta.Ti.khaH5414thee adesolationשְׁמָמָ֥הshe.ma.MahH8077and an astonishment.

4I willlayאָשִׂ֔ים'a.SimH7760thycitiesעָרֶ֙יךָ֙'a.Rei.khaH5892wasteחָרְבָּ֣הcha.re.BahH2723, and thou shalt bedesolateשְׁמָמָ֣הshe.ma.MahH8077; and thou shaltknowוְיָדַעְתָּ֖ve.ya.da'.TaH3045that I am theLORDיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

5Becauseעַל־'al-H5921thou hast had aperpetualעוֹלָ֔םo.LamH5769enmityאֵיבַ֣ת'ei.VatH342, and hastgivenH3027over thechildrenבְּנֵֽי־be.nei-H1121ofIsraelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478to thepowerH3027of theswordחָ֑רֶבCha.revH2719in the time of theircalamityאֵידָ֔ם'ei.DamH343, in the time of theiniquityעֲוֹ֥ן'a.VonH5771of theendקֵֽץ׃KetzH7093:

6therefore, as Iliveחַי־chai-H2416, saith theLordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136GODH136, I willprepareאֶעֶשְׂךָ֖'e.'es.KhaH6213thee untobloodלְדָ֥םle.DamH1818, andbloodוְדָ֣םve.DamH1818shallpursueיִרְדֲּפֶ֑ךָyir.da.Fe.khaH7291thee: sith thou hastnotלֹ֥אlo'H3808hatedשָׂנֵ֖אתָsa.Ne.taH8130bloodדָ֛םdamH1818, thereforebloodוְדָ֥םve.DamH1818shallpursueיִרְדֲּפֶֽךָ׃yir.da.Fe.khaH7291thee.

7Thus will Imakeוְנָֽתַתִּי֙ve.na.ta.TiH5414mountהַ֣רharH2022Seirשֵׂעִ֔ירse.'IrH8165an astonishment and adesolationH8077; and I willcutוְהִכְרַתִּ֥יve.hikh.ra.TiH3772offH3772from it him that passeththroughמִמֶּ֖נּוּmi.Me.nuH4480and him that returneth.

8And I willfillוּמִלֵּאתִ֥יu.mi.le.TiH4390hismountainsהָרָ֖יוha.RavH2022with hisslainחֲלָלָ֑יוcha.la.LavH2491: in thyhillsגִּבְעוֹתֶ֤יךָgiv.'o.Tei.khaH1389and in thyvalleysוְגֵאוֹתֶ֙יךָ֙ve.ge.'o.Tei.khaH1516and inallוְכָל־ve.kholH3605thy watercourses shall theyfallיִפְּל֥וּyi.pe.LuH5307that areslainחַלְלֵי־cha.lei-H2491with theswordחֶ֖רֶבChe.revH2719.

9I willmakeאֶתֶּנְךָ֔'e.ten.KhaH5414theeperpetualעוֹלָם֙o.LamH5769desolations, and thycitiesוְעָרֶ֖יךָve.'a.Rei.khaH5892shallnotלֹ֣אlo'H3808beinhabitedH3427: and ye shallknowוִֽידַעְתֶּ֖םvi.da'.TemH3045that I am theLORDיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

10Becauseיַ֣עַןYa.'anH3282thou hastsaidאֲ֠מָרְךָ'A.ma.re.khaH559, Thesetwoשְׁנֵ֨יshe.NeiH8147nationsהַגּוֹיִ֜םha.go.YimH1471and thesetwoשְׁתֵּ֧יshe.TeiH8147countriesהָאֲרָצ֛וֹתha.'a.ra.TzotH776shall be mine, andweשָׁ֥םshamH8033willpossessוִֽירַשְׁנ֑וּהָvi.rash.Nu.haH3423it; whereas theLORDוַֽיהוָ֖הva.Yah.wehH3068was there:

11therefore, as Iliveחַי־chai-H2416, saith theLordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136GODH136, I willdoוְעָשִׂ֗יתִיve.'a.Si.tiH6213according to thineangerכְּאַפְּךָ֙ke.'a.pe.KhaH639, and according to thineenvyוּכְקִנְאָ֣תְךָ֔u.khe.kin.'A.te.khaH7068whichH834thou hast shewedoutH3045of thyhatredמִשִּׂנְאָתֶ֖יךָmi.sin.'a.Tei.khaH8135against them; and I willmakeעָשִׂ֔יתָה'a.Si.tahH6213myselfאָ֗נִי'A.niH589knownH3045among them, when I shalljudgeאֶשְׁפְּטֶֽךָ׃'esh.pe.Te.khaH8199thee.

12And thou shaltknowוְֽיָדַעְתָּ֮ve.ya.da'.TaH3045that I theLORDיְהוָה֒Yah.wehH3068haveheardשָׁמַ֣עְתִּי׀sha.Ma'.tiH8085allכָּל־kol-H3605thyblasphemiesנָאָֽצוֹתֶ֗יךָna.'a.tzo.Tei.khaH5007whichאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834thou hastspokenאָמַ֛רְתָּ'a.Mar.taH559againstעַל־'al-H5921themountainsהָרֵ֥יha.ReiH2022ofIsraelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478,sayingלֵאמֹ֣ר׀le.MorH559, They arelaidH5414desolateשָׁמֵ֑מוּsha.Me.muH8074, they aregivenH5414usH5414to devour.

13And ye havemagnifiedוַתַּגְדִּ֤ילוּva.tag.Di.luH1431yourselvesagainstH5921meH5921with yourmouthבְּפִיכֶ֔םbe.fi.KhemH6310, and havemultipliedוְהַעְתַּרְתֶּ֥םve.ha'.tar.TemH6280yourwordsדִּבְרֵיכֶ֑םdiv.rei.KhemH1697againstH5921meH5921: I haveheardשָׁמָֽעְתִּי׃ סsha.Ma.'e.tiH8085it.

14Thusכֹּ֥הkohH3541saith theLordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136GODH136: When thewholeכָּל־kol-H3605earthהָאָ֔רֶץha.'A.retzH776rejoiceth, I willmakeאֶעֱשֶׂה־'e.'e.seh-H6213theedesolateשְׁמָמָ֖הshe.ma.MahH8077.

15As thou didstrejoiceכְּשִׂמְחָ֨תְךָ֜ke.sim.Cha.te.khaH8057over theinheritanceלְנַחְלַ֧תle.nach.LatH5159of thehouseבֵּֽית־beit-H1004ofIsraelיִשְׂרָאֵ֛לYis.ra.'ElH3478,becauseH3588it wasdesolateH8074,soכֵּ֣ןkenH3651will Idoאֶעֱשֶׂה־'e.'e.seh-H6213unto thee: thou shalt bedesolateH8074, Omountהַר־har-H2022Seirשֵׂעִיר֙se.'IrH8165, andallוְכָל־ve.kholH3605Edomאֱד֣וֹם'e.DomH123,evenH3588allכֻּלָּ֔הּku.LahH3605of it: and they shallknowוְיָדְע֖וּve.ya.de.'UH3045that I am theLORDיְהוָֽה׃ פYah.wehH3068.
